I've seen the spirit of a woman in white a few times, as well as what I think are tree spirits in the woods near my house. I've also heard voices whispering on occasion.

I was freaked out the first few times it happened, but now I either just ignore sightings/sounds, or I discuss them with the few people in my life who believe me.

My mom apparently encountered a nahual in her youth when she lived in mexico and I saw a black triangle UFO when I was 9 years old once, moved wayy too slowly to be an airplane and was relatively Bigger than an airplane.

Asides from that, not much else??

When I was recovering months after from almost dying. I've had sighting of black cat. Nothing odd about it except the first sighting had the cat jump off the roof my house. The second sighting, I was doing a morning walk and see a black cat just walk behind a corner of a house. When I walked to see the corner, the cat just disappeared. All that was there was a iron gate that the was just too high to jump and it couldn't gone through it because the gate had a metal sheet in front of it. The gate flanked by the house and brick wall bordering the yard next door.

There had been a moment long ago when my father and I were driving. It was daylight, out in the open, and a right blue sky. And we saw this weird UFO in the sky.

Now, my father immediately joked that it was an alien UFO, but I assumed it was some new jet that came out. But it didn't look like any jet I'd ever seen before. The moment it disappeared behind two large trees, it was gone from the sky.

My father still jokes that it was a UFO, but I dunno -- I'm kinda thinking it was. :joy:

Don't really believe in the paranormal but plagued by freaky ass hypnagogia if that counts. See weird shadow people in the corner of my eyes when i'm super tired or hear my own thinking voice turn into an outside voice. Or freaky stuff when I wake up in the middle of night half asleep like my mirrors covered in random letters, a small woman under the sheets or a long thin piece of paper with weird ikea looking designs on my wall. Weirdest part was how super detailed they were and how they slowly faded away as I woke up.

My mom apparently had that too, woke up to see a psychedelic cat fairy thing outside her room.

This reminds me of sleep paralysis. Might not be what you were experiencing here, but it's a very real thing that I've heard other people have experienced, where they can't move from bed and see freaky things. I've experienced being paralyzed in my sleep before (could not move but i was fully awake), but I never opened my eyes in fear of what hallucinations I might see!

Anyway, in response to OP: There was a time in my childhood where I saw weird lights in the night sky. They looked like spotlights; lights swimming frantically in the sky but they didn't seem like actual spotlights because if they had been, I would've seen a trail of light emanating from the ground below. They were just these glowy things, whipping back and forth, and they were huge. Don't know what they were. haha.

I believe so.

Recently, I had this weird experience in which I was half asleep and when I looked up, there was this lady with long fingers sitting on the side of my bed. Contrary to illusions, this one didn't vanish as I stared at it. I became scared and tried to ignore it. She went down after a while, but I started feeling really sick out of the blue. It also vanished with the time, but it was scary and weird.

The first time I toyed with chaos magic in the form of a sigil, probably the simplest form of it, I laid down on my bed and waited for a sign. It was the weirdest thing because not five seconds later I blinked and for something like 5 more seconds, before I blinked again, the world became green, like a filter overlaying reality. I blinked and it was gone and it never happened to me again. Granted, it could be an optical illusion of something, but belief is important in this matter and I sure believe.

There's a cool part of youtube where they do horror narrations - mr nightmare, blue spooky, darkness prevails - i love that.

but personally, I'm a pretty safe gal. I stay away from paranormal everything.

don't want it or need it.

Yes. While it's sometimes fun to know that my late dog and my daughter's favorite cat still hang around, my current dog barking at spots on the wall or trying to defend his food from a dog who hasn't snitched his food in years can get a little annoying. There's much more, but I'd rather keep that need to know.

While I don't think I've seen any actual supernatural stuff, I suffer from occasional bouts of sleep paralysis and that has definitely caused me to see some crazy stuff, even with my eyelids shut. Sometimes it's a small floating swarm of eyeballs in the middle of my vision (kinda like what gnats do in the summer), sometimes it's a wall of visual static behind my eyelids that morphs into different faces or face-like shapes... Sometimes I do manage to open my eyes and my vision is just... vibrating uncontrollably while i hear a droning pressure-y sound in my ears. And there was one time I saw what I could have sworn was some hairy Cousin Itt type figure sitting on the end of my bed, before they got up and walked out through the bedroom door...

There was one thing that kinda freaked me out though like even in hindsight, and that's "the guy who everyone sees in their dreams". Which is... exactly what it says on the tin. Maybe not everyone, granted, but there's one guy who a lot of people have reported seeing in their dreams, and when I saw a picture of him, I recognized him as one of the faces that my sleep paralysis conjured in my vision on occasion. Just calmly staring like some weird old photograph or something, with facial proportions that are just slightly off enough to hit that uncanny valley vibe.

It's probably a coincidence, since the face shown was kind of generic, but hoo, still unnerving when its staring right at you and you can't move...

Perhaps not too paranormal but??

A few years ago there was a guy who lived in our spare bedroom and he used to work nights. He also smoked, and would often smoke on the back porch. One night I was upstairs and saw him smoking on the back porch through the glass door.

He came home from work about an hour later.

I have no idea who or what was on my porch, but it certainly looked like him.

I love those, I follow a lot of them!
Others I like a lot:

Lazy Masquerade
ReignBot
LadyWhiteRabbit (this one only reads CreepyPasta, but she's the best one at it to me)
NightmareExpo

I've had ghosts if it counts - used to communicate with the one that lived at my parents house. The place was about 300 years old so it wasn't surprising there was a little weirdness going on there. The ghost stole and hid my wallet as a prank once. I had to channel and ask where it was - it was correct down to the exact location. The sneaky little scamp.

I saw a UFO but it looks like a laser light. But I'm sure of it was UFO. and my EX didn't listen to me when I told him that there is something to the sky, atleast there will be 2 witness. but He was stupid and keep talking and didn't listen to me. When it was fading, that's the time he looked at the sky.

So...
Once long ago when I was a wee lad, I lived with my mother at my grandmother's house. It was a home that was peaceful, warm and full of love.

Soon my mother would meet a young gentleman whom she would come to marry. This man was a nice man and he was quite friendly so I was thrilled she had found someone to make her happy.

After they got married, we soon moved to the guy's house. As a kid I didn't notice anything really out of the feeling of being in an unfamiliar environment, but that would soon change gradually as time passed.

For the first week or so things were pretty normal, we had moved in and gotten settled just fine. Everything seemed pretty average. One day however the man informed my mom that he would be working the graveyard shift at his job for a good while. It paid extra and he was trying to save money to take us to universal studios which I was super excited about since I had never been.

The first night went normal... Second night normal...
Third night there was a bad thunderstorm that had rolled in. Being a kid I was pretty scared so I would get up and run across the hall to my mom's room to sleep for the night.

This went on for a bit and whenever I was afraid during a storm, I would just go to my mom's room. It had been pretty hot for a while so the storms we're pretty frequent but otherwise no big deal.

However... One night something.. different happened..

I was in bed when another storm came through. So you know, same routine right? I got up and noticed that my lamp was on. I didn't really question it so I just got out of bed and proceeded to the door to the hallway when I just froze. The hallway seemed unusually dark and it was as something was preventing me from going any further. Almost as if something called me, I turned around and headed for my window for some reason...

Walking towards the window, it almost felt as if I was in some trance or zombified state, I had no control.

I finally arrived at the window and peered outside. The light from my neighbors house illuminated the backyard through the pouring rain.

My eyes were drawn towards the center of my yard where the light would cast a shadow on the ground from an object that appeared to be the silhouette of a person.. just standing there..

I thought to myself, "What is that? A tree? It couldn't be a person, why are they just standing in the rain?" But I remembered that there were no trees out back, only grass. I was trying to come up with anything else it could be instead of a person.

I stared at the shadow for what seemed like forever and it never budged. Finally I was able to break free and I decided to just head back to bed. I would go out tomorrow to investigate.

After falling back to sleep, I drempt of an old woman standing outside under the light from the lamp post near my house. I had never seen the woman before but she was pale and dressed in all white. Her gaze was focused at the ground for a bit before she would look up at me, right before the dream ended.

The next day i looked out back and as I feared, nothing was there.. beforen said what had happened the night before, I asked my mother if an old woman lived in the house. She said that my step dad mentioned an old woman who had died in the house next door, but that was some time ago.

My heart sank slightly as all kinds of thoughts ran through my head relating my dream and the shadow to the woman..

I had told her about what had happened and she paused for a bit. She then said I was silly and continued making breakfast. I thought that was weird but I left it alone.

We have sinced moved from that house and after some years later in my teens, I asked my mother if she had remembered the dream I told her about.

She replied "oh yeah, I do." She then proceeded to tell me that she had experienced some weird activity on and off in that ouse as well, but it would only happen when my step dad worked the 3rd shift. She continued that she didn't want to say anything because she didn't want to break me out.

Till this day as an adult, thinking back to that night still gives me chills.

Hmm well, about 5 years ago I was going through a 7 week training thing for my job where I had to stay in a dorm with 50 females. During this time we were worked from the moment we got up to when we went to bed, so I made a habit of getting up at 3am to go to the bathroom for "my business". Once during week 3 and 6 I was sitting on the toilet (I forgot if the girls on night watch turned off the lights to keep us from getting in trouble with our instructor) I heard a chick crying. No one was there before I came in, and because of how the room was set up you'd know if someone came through the door, and no one did while I was there.

Funny thing was I didn't think anything of it because I was so exhausted, I think I even said "hey man, you'll be alright." during one of those times. For all I know I could have just been hallucinating due to lack of sleep, and I have had hypnopompic hallucinations before. Although there was a rumor going around that some girl supposedly offed herself in our quarters, which I wouldn't have been surprised since our building was the oldest, and the training could be intense for some people. So who knows.

Even after that I don't really believe in ghosts, don't care enough to, but it was a fun story to scare my dorm mates with.

Yes, I'm so glad to meet a fellow horror narration fan!!

I haven't seen a lot of these people so I'm so happy to have something to binge while I'm studying and working. Thank you so much for contributing!!
