Has anyone here been playing Pokemon Go?

Sadly I don't have a phone so I can't download it but it's definitely the craze right now. Have you guys been playing it?

I play it but not as much as a bunch of people. It's actually the only phone game I play because it's entertaining.
However I don't have any pokestops near me so that's one reason I don't play much I don't feel like spending a bunch of money for items .

I actually started to play it only because I wanted to see if the pikachu hack was true. It actually did work and I got a pikachu.

I have! Even before it was released here, I hyped myself up and joined STARDUST + CANDY the Pokemon Go fanzine to get my kick! I can't leave the house much because of health issues so I often ask my siblings to take my phone out for a walk, haha!

I do! I actually upgraded my iPhone 4S up to an iPhone 6 for the sake of playing that game LMFAO I'm not all crazy about it, I will take a walk outside from time to time to get to the nearest pokestop, else I just play while driving to work with my sister. (She drives the car, of course)

Every morning I do jogging workout with Pokemon GO and I don't mind at all.
However it keeps crashing on my phone which is....a pain in the ass.

Yes, I've been playing and going to events in my area. We were even on our local news cause we had such a crowd show up!
I go running with the app, I do meetups, my sister (who wasn't much into pokemon/games) even picked it up and is now messaging me on occasion to go out to parks to see what's there. Since the update that changed the nest locations, our Facebook community has been trying to remap where you can find what.

It's got me pretty active physically and socially.

My brother and I have been playing PokemonGO! My university actually has A LOT of pokestops (around 40 in the main campus) so we'd go to them all after club meetings. It's unfortunate that the app drains my phone's battery so fast though. OTL

I'm one of the lucky people who has a pokestop right in front of her house. To make things better, it's a pokestop where people often place a lure upon :3
So I'm just sitting here working on my comic while I catch pokemon at the same time~ huzzah!

I'm so close to reaching lv 24 and team Instinct all the way! I love being apart of the underestimated scrappy underdog team lol

I'm slightly salty at Niantic for removing the tracking system and removing sites like Pokevision (which were handy solutions till they fixed the tracking). I can only hope that the game gets better and better with each update going forward.

I actually never even used Pokevision in all its glory before they took it down lMFAO tbh I already had trouble with using the radar when it functioned normally, so I really don't have that much trouble when they removed the tracking system. Sure it's a bad move of them to not fix it, but I have saw so many people overexaggerating about it to the point "I'm deleting your stupid game, hope your stock market go into the negative" or smth along that line and I'm just PEOPLE IT'S JUST A SILLY TRACKING SYSTEM, GIVE THEM TIME, STOP BETCHING.

Also right now there is a bug that makes it hard to catch pokemon.... dem pidgey keeps running away from me + took me at least 5 great ball + 1 berry to catch 1 silly pidgey sometimes....

YES! lol They are a lot harder to catch since the update. It's crazy. And there's a few glitches of people catching a pokemon and then it's actually another pokemon in their list of caught pokemon, and a few people were accidentally given Articunos and Niantic responded that it was an accident and they'll delete them from the account holders. SO MUCH Drama and mess ups on the company's part.

I used Pokevision because I live in a somewhat rural area and it was nice knowing where I can drive to to walk around for some pokemons, instead of blindly walking around my neighborhood and not getting anything despite the Nearby list telling me something is in the area when it's not. lol Niantic has finally stated they are fixing it, so I'm excited for that release so I can hunt pokemon again.

In Pokemon Go, you travel around town and catch virtual monsters. I don't think that's true. The real monsters are the players because of their actions.

Let me tell you a story...

Once upon a time, (2016) a couple decided to go Pokemon hunting. They agreed they would do it for 2 days. Because the couple loved pokemon so much, they decided to leave their 2 year old son home alone. It also happened to be 90 degrees farenheit and the child was slowly dehydrating... Luckily the child was found and the parents were seriously charged with neglect...

Why? Why would the couple choose a digital monster over a actual child? But don't get me wrong! Pokemon Go is a great game! But is it a great game for humans?

sigh remember, it's a game, not a new life. Don't block out those who care about you and those you care about for pokemon.

I played Ingress for maybe a month. Yeah, it helps if you know the Ingress maps, you will know the locations of a lot of Pokemon GO things like gyms and high activity where Pokemon may pop.

But honestly I'm not much of a Sci Fi junkie, and the story line didn't hold my interest. So I put it down after that month.

Ah, finally I hear of this happening to others, I've explained it to several people I've met, and no one ever had that glitch or knew about it. I didn't have anything dramatic at least... just zome Zubats became Magikarp and a Nidoran♀ I hatched became a Vulpix.

Pokemon GO has been just recently released at Philippines so I'm still at level one but I seriously took it out to head at the nearest Pokestop. It was forced like 'Do I really have to walk there just to make sure!?" Hahaha it was just so funny that a game basically made you walk to places you never really want to go to. It was fun!
