Share where else you've published your writing (or art, Idk what it's called for art lol.) Also if you've worked on shows, comics, or anything of the kind, even if they weren't your own projects, if you can talk about them, do.

This December I will officially have been working at this professional writer thing for 4 years, and for some reason, this is still one of my proudest achievements even though this story was so short. It's a challenge to write a complete story that's 100 words EXACTLY and this was my first time doing it, but I got published for it!

I published a lot of music, I´m a singer, guitarplayer and (mostly) uprightbassplayer. I never
counted the releases but it must be around 20 albums, many singles. I played on 500 songs.

Then I produced music which was also published.

I had one comic published and I work as an illustrator of bands who publish their music.
My art is on t-shirts, posters etc.

Some people have tattoos that I drew. Some people have notes of songs that I played tattooed

Here is one of the logos / illustrations that I did several years ago. I still like the design,
the band is also still on tour and releasing

Idk if this counts but I’ve done various commissions and fanarts for a few stories here on tapas  I’ve posted them all on this art thread.

There are even commissions that have even been published by the authors!

One reason is that I´m old
Imagine that my oldest drawings are from the 70s
:open_mouth:

Xd. Some people grow old and still never create much so don't discredit the work you've done

Some of my Shapes strips have been published in various print comic/zine anthologies. Right now, I'm working on a book collection containing the first season of The Shapes with a publisher I work for.

I've published on a bunch of different sites but right now, my work is on Kindle Unlimited.

Pre 1997 it was more mixed media drawing contests. Ive had short stories added to anthologies back in elementary and highschool.
Another short story will be published in a horror ghost story book collection next year. By a local published author.
Been doing digital media commission wise since 1997. So Ive done radio, community, charity, small business, brand well known companies, local mom and pop shops, college/universities, etc. So its been alot.
The past 3 years been doing the annual brain injury in-person art gallery event in Toronto. I either submit it via large prints or on canvas.
Hollow Screams was the 2024 canvas submission. (G rated version)

I have published a book with poetry half a year ago. I now am waiting for new cover to re-release it for readers.

school anthologies or publishing company anthologies?

A one shot I made was part of an exhibition in the local city hall. It was for a contest and I showed it off to all of my friends. The one shot even got shipped to Japan for an exhibition there. Mind you, I have never been to Japan, only my work.

Wow that sounds awesome! What country are you from? I'm curious

I live in Germany! The contest in question takes place every 2 years and is fairly small, even though it’s nationwide. Also thanks!

Welp, it's officially been 4 years now. Another year, a new writing credit? For some reason, the end of the year seems to be the luckiest time for me, as I recently just got published by a writing competition for (incredibly short) stories. It was not easy lol. The stories could only be up to 50 words long and they couldn't contain the letter 'r.' Crazy stuff
