Hello!

My name is Laura Kjoge and I have been creating comics for a long time. For the past few years I have been working on and off on a horror webcomic I had being posting on it's own webpage until now, Infected Instinct. I have started posting the pages on Tapastic little by little since I imagine it's better to do that than to post all of them at the same time.

The main reason I have come over to Tapastic is to try to discover some new content to read (I'm still trying to get used to navigating the page hahaha) and to try to get feedback on the work I'm creating to get better. I'm not a fan of re-doing work if someone spots something that could have been done better but I always take into account anything to learn and do it better next time

How do you usually look for comics to add to your reader list? I generally hover around the thumbnails on the frontpage but even if lots of the comics look really great on quality they don't quite spark my interest most of the times. I also check a lot the Fresh tap to see if there is anything interesting but I imagine there must be other ways to find comics near to my interests.

hey there! im jonno, i never leave the forums, except to eat and sleep haha. i post my comic, AM, on the main site. It isn't a horror comic, as im not really into the horror genre. dont worry though, a fair few people who visit tapastic are super into it.

as far as discovering comics to add to your list, here is the secret:
there are a few threads on the forums here named something like "show off your comic" or "comics with under x subs". you want to check out the comics you see here, because some of the best comics on tap are comics that aren't really that popular. if you don't want to rummage around in the forums, always stick to the "fresh" tab on the front page of the main site. since there are so many comics on tapastic, you will always see something new whenever you check that tab. hope this helps you in your search for content

Ahh, I still have to look through those posts since they are generally very long but it does look like a nice way to find cool stuff ^^ I'll keep an eye on those.

I normally don't have a lot of time to search around and read everything that is posted so anything helps! Really glad to meet you!

I also make a comic called Apparition Appreciation but I've only been doing it for a few days. I love you style particularly how you illustrate the backgrounds and scenery! I generally find new comics to read the same way you do but i have also stumbled across a few good ones through the forums.

I'm Tatsumaki and my comic is Final Light (if you're interested in fantasy-romance tho xD)
We think the same about redoing things, cause that kinda slow down the next pages so it's better take the mistakes in consideration for the newer ones
There are many ways to find new comics, like in the front page of Tapastic there's the button of comics and appears the ones trending, news, etc. That's where I usually look, but also here on the forums artists try to put their work to notice so it won't be difficult for you to find something of your taste, there are thousand of options here.
And omg your art D: where were u my whole life?! <3 I'll read it once I get time so I can enjoy better but oh god your style is amazing! and I don't mind horror

Question! Is your comic also on Smackjeeves or something? Because I swear I've read and follow your comic on another site, I followed it here when I saw it on the recently updated, but it looked really familiar when I saw it.

For comic searching I look at comics here on the forum, and just look through the different tabs on the main site, you can get more detailed options from the 'Browsing' tab but I'm too lazy most of the time. :/
The project I post here is pretty young and kind of an acquired taste, but it's called 'Void', if you're interested in drama featuring lgbt+/mogai characters and (eventually)disturbing themes; then you can check it out of if you want.

Hello! Yea, I started putting it up on Tapastic a long time ago but then, uhh, life happened, and I couldn't find myself updating so many sites at the same time (the comic website, SJ, another site where I also update in Spanish, dA...) so I just focused on two. I have learned to organize myself better so I should start updating Smackjeeves again too somewhere along this week but you can follow the comic wherever is better for you :>

I like creepy stuff, so I went ahead and read your comic which was good enough for my tastes to make me want to hit that sub button. Speaking of subbing, I usually patrol the fresh section looking for new comics to potentially add to my reader list.

You have very beautiful webcomic going on there and I'm happy about the genre, since I've not managed to find so many horror comics to add on my reading list. The start seems promising to me so I'll stay lurking around it to see if I'll like the rest. Also I think you're right with your little by little posting schedule. Too many pages at once can be a bit overbearing, especially when some people use tapastic with their phone. But when you do add episode, do it on different day, because you get on a 'fresh' page only once a day per update

I have also two comics here in tapastic. Other one, Numb updates weekly and Little Tales more randomly. If you are interested in some mystery check them out.

I don't add to many webcomics on my reading list so I won't lose interest in some of them while reading a bunch but when adding I usually go to my subscribers reading list or to any comic on my reading list and check out their reading list since the creators may be reading a comic similar to what they create.
