Hi! I'm Amai, and I just joined Tapastic.

I currently work in Tokyo in the game industry (mobile), but comics/manga have always been my first love so I draw them a lot when I have the time. I just started posting my comic, Open Season, here and I'm currently aiming to update a page a week for the meantime. I also have a Tumblr that has some of my other projects on it, but also partially serves as a mirror for this comic.

I used to have a comic on smackjeeves years ago, but life got in the way and I moved to Japan and...welp, here I am again, haha. I'm really looking forward to reading everyone's comics here!

I'm Niina, the creator of mystery comics Numb and Little Tales and I'm aiming to illustration and comic industry as a profession but we'll see how it goes. Tho my influences come mostly from western comics, I am a big fan of manga as well (Battle Angel Alita, Rose of Versailles and Berserk would be my favourites I think. Also stuff from Junji Ito).

I also have a tumblr for art and mirroring my comics and I'd recommend you to get a twitter account if you want to meet other webcomic creators, there's great community there and weekly talk-events about comics.

I'm MylCreates, the creator of the comics Death Prince and Hacheeachkee. I've been a tapastic user since 2014 and I've also moved here from SmackJeeves.

I also agree with @niinasalmelin that getting a twitter account is a great way of networking with other comic creators (esp. through chats like #webcomicchat), that and just talking to some of your tapastic neighboors about eachothers comics and getting to know eachother will help you create a nice supportive group around your comic

I'll definitely check out your comics as well! From what I've glanced at it looks really interesting! I love mystery stuff, so I'm looking forward to reading more. (also, I love Rose of Versailles too!)

Actually, I'm on Twitter as well, I just forgot to plug it since I recently created it and...am not really good at Twitter yet, haha. I keep on forgetting my account exists. It's nice to know that there's a community there as well, I'll definitely try to join in the conversation!

This website is actually pretty great. I mean the comics are good and there are many creators, and the interface is very user friendly, but what really stands out the most to me is the care that the creators of tapastic have for the users of the page. They're always working hard to make the webpage/app better and I think that's amazing.

haha, I had a comic on ,Smack jeeves then life got in the way and SJ got all weird so I deleted my account and recreated it 3 or 4 years later. I have my comics edited on that site, as well as here. I have a tumblr as well, my comic links are on the side bar there; they are unedited. SJ and Taptastic hold the edited version. the the kicker... I have an OLD account on Drunk Duck, it runs a lot of my comics too, unedited and one that I'm redoing that's extremely hurtful to the eyes (old version)
I think I just randomly post everywhere. I'm terrible!
