So in my adventures on the internet today, I have come across the travesty of literature known as Empress Theresa, and even worse, the author's juvenile responses to criticism and refusal to change his ways. As someone aspiring to publish a graphic novel to Amazon myself, based on a concept I have worked with for nearly a decade, I am now genuinely afraid of the possibility that my work will be in the ranks of Empress Theresa.
So, what can I do to avoid going down this path? Frankly I'm not in the position to publish my stuff yet,(in fact my Tapas currently has just little goofy spin off comics) but I wanna be able to make my work better and more enjoyable before it's published and has the potential to become a mockery.
If anyone asks, I can DM them (to avoid spoiling for everyone) a timeline I made for my creative universe up to the point that I plan for my first published story to take place. I'd definitely appreciate feedback and learning what to do to improve.
