Idk, tabs for [specifically] exploring things that could be deemed more niche. Like things that are just more niche on the sight specifically. I'd honestly like to see newer, more interesting projects get attention more than they get right now. You know, ones with artstyles that aren't just the typical manwha artstyle or I'd just like to see more comics that are experimental or weird. Or just a second and third genre selection so people know what they're getting.

How frequently would you say that you use the creator dashboard?
2-3 times a day

What do you primarily use it for? (Do you like to see how your story is doing on a daily basis, check out how that inkage you’ve collected, or reply to your supporters?)

To see a status report of the number of views, likes, and subscribers per episode per series

And, most importantly, what kinds of improvements and/or features would you like to see in the future?
We’re all ears!
It'd be much appreciated if there was a way to see which particular subscribers liked an episode on the mobile app, and also to gain recognition of lesser known comics or updated series by posting them on the trending menu of the website.

1) I use the dashboard often. Every time I’m reading on my computer, I would look at it at least once. (I’m on everyday whether on the app or computer)
2) check how my stories are doing and how audience engagement is doing.
3)I’d love to be able to access the dashboard on the app.

I use the dashboard almost daily, when I log in, but it lacks a total number of views and just shows daily stuff, which is less important to me.

  • Fix italics in the Novels so it's not an inline element CSS shortcut.
  • On the main series dashboard show total number of views, likes and subscribers. This information is not viewable on the Dashboard currently; only Daily is noted.
  • Reliably show the date of when the series was first posted, and most recent update.
  • Allow users to sort the series on their dashboard, not as comic or novel, but by customer numbers of priority the User themselves set.
  • Split the Performance section into two different windows, series with lots of chapters/uploads loading on the same page as the graph itself makes it too long of a page needlessly.

How frequently would you say that you use the creator dashboard? almost never
What do you primarily use it for? check engagement.
And, most importantly, what kinds of improvements and/or features would you like to see in the future?
-I would like to be able to access it through mobile. It would make many things super easier.
-Also, I would like to be able to put images on novels to make them a bit more like light novels.
-To edit one page, I would like to be able to drag the page to a trash can and add the correct one to its place without having to replace everything.

Hi!

I've always wanted to provide a feedback when asked.

How frequently would you say that you use the creator dashboard? (Give us your best guesstimate!)
Every week before I upload, I check my dashboard

What do you primarily use it for? (Do you like to see how your story is doing on a daily basis, check out how that inkage you’ve collected, or reply to your supporters?)
I use it for progress status

And, most importantly, what kinds of improvements and/or features would you like to see in the future?
AVOID COUNTING CREATORS AS A READ/PAGE VIEW. I noticed that when I visit my own work, my read count. I really wished it would stop doing that. I wouldn't want to find out that the views on my works are mostly mine (so to avoid that, I avoid clicking per episode)

So far, that's about what I can contribute. I would probably revise this once I'm able to think of something else.

Thanks for the opportunity

How frequently - Every time I log in to Tapas so every couple of days!
How do I use - I only really use the series tab, as a way to access my series and see what feedback it has.
Improvements - I dont really like seeing the red number of how much my views have gone down from the previous day ;w; Those analytics dont seem helpful to me but thats potentially because I am very nervous of getting sucked into the mindset of trying my best to please above everything else. Maybe a way of seeing if you've lost subscribers though? Because sometimes I THINK my sub count has gone down but I cant be sure as theres no way of telling. Mostly though I think it would be useful to be able to see all the comments from a series in one place so I dont have to scroll through my whole comic to respond to people, and add a like comment feature!!!

Another improvement I just thought of;
If possible, stats on what sort of age group are reading the comics!! I think this is vital for remaining responsible as a creator

How frequently would you say that you use the creator dashboard?
About as often as I post comics, three times a week.

What do you primarily use it for?
To check views/likes, stats, ink collection, or to see if anyone's commented or subscribed.

And, most importantly, what kinds of improvements and/or features would you like to see in the future?

Series Index:

  • Thumbnail view for each Series, with simplified views/likes/subs underneath with the edit icon.

  • Automatic or optional sorting of Novels/Comics (comics->novels / novels->comics)

  • Optional category creation for a series, for grouping a selection of comics or novels by franchise/setting/characters like folders. (Could be labeled as 'Comic' Folder, 'Novel' Folder, or be mixed). This would help creators who create both daily strips and longform stories, and would like to attend to them separately. Or, creators who have both types of comics of the same series and would like them to appear together for fans on their Series List to avoid confusion.

  • Optional sorting the series list by overall subscibers/performance.

Episode List:

  • Optional thumbnail view for pages (with an edit icon in the corner of the image)

Series Overview (Mobile):

  • Custom Ad banners, or custom links, appear after the synopsis in the Details Tab.

Additional Ideas:

  • Mobile dashboard for creators on-the-go or without desktop/laptop computers, who use of cloud file storage for uploading, or who create their comics on a different device than they use to track comments/subscriptions.

  • Mobile creator newsfeed, in case the creators want to reach their userbase for promotions/special events without asking them to log on to a desktop, or use the mobile browser (which always prompts to switch to the app).

  • Mobile forums (currently, if the user is attempting to login on a mobile device while the Tapas app is installed, the device will switch over without logging the forum user in.)

  • Patreon integration.

Each two weeks, and during that week I use it from 3 to 5 days guesstimated.

I use it for update my comic and the rest of the days for see the statistics for know if more people is watching it.

-The option of can change one page of place. Normally I have to upload again all the pages of one chapter again when I make a change instead just upload the updated page and change it from place.
-Dashboard compatible with touch. The past year my notebook died and I don’t have money for a new one, so I do all my comic things in my tablet.

Thank you for read!
-Sergi

I use it once or twice a week, most often the day I update and another day during the week to check how the month is going.

I mostly use it to track interest, check what's growing and how and see what I can do to keep some form of momentum. I tend to use the monthly tabs more than the daily ones, because the daily ones update at a weird time for me. I guess it's a timezone thing?

So that's what I'd change if I could, I'd want to be able to track recent likes more easily on older chapters instead of having them all piled together and having to guess in the list. Maybe just adding a + sign with the number of likes/comments gained per chapter in the box under the graph?
I would also like it if I could set the daily update to a specific timezone, unless that already exists and I just haven't figured it out.

How frequently would you say that you use the creator dashboard? Three/Four times a week.
What do you primarily use it for? I like to see how my story is doing.
And, most importantly, what kinds of improvements and/or features would you like to see in the future? How many people visualize my comic in general and for each page, when (days, time tables), how they ended up there (search or what).

App uploading would be great. I use my tablet to make comics so to have an app to upload would make my life a lot easier.

  1. At least 3 times a week. Sometimes daily.
  2. To publish, check how the comic is doing, and reply to supporters.

3.

  • I like the comment section in the dashboard idea. Or have this option of replying in the "Activity" page in the comment and replies tab. But I can see how this can get a bit cluttering. It just would be nice to have all the replies in one page and be able to reply to it quicker instead of loading up the comic page every time. Maybe have it disappear after you reply or check that you have seen it.

Publishing Comic features:

  • I did't know you can rearrange files when uploading. Maybe make it more apparent by allowing users to just click and hold to drag files in order and not click, then click again to hold and drag files.

  • Allow to save drafts of an episode without scheduling. Like you have episodes you're not sure when you'll published. Or you just want to make a placeholder but you don't want people to see it as a coming up schedule comic.

  • And lastly ...It would be cool to have a cropping feature for the thumbnail as well. Like an option to upload a new file or crop a comic file you just uploaded. This is just me being lazy though.

This is all I can think of atm.

I haven't used the Creator Dashboard in years.

Features I'd like to see is info on how to connect with others and what to do. I know two people, I think.
And maybe if there's a way to take our comic to print. Been researching self publishing for many years.

Lulu, Amazon, and Blurb are options, but I'm not sure which to use.

Hi!

How frequently would you say that you use the creator dashboard?
I'd say I use it pretty much every day when I can (had to take a month long break due to my desktop breaking)

What do you primarily use it for?
I update and check the stats! Haven't unlocked support yet, won't for a while

And, most importantly, what kinds of improvements and/or features would you like to see in the future?
Checking stats more! I'd love to be able to see who liked/bookmarked/commented on my stuff on said days, and a comment tab in general would be great! Seeing people's reaction to what I post makes me super happy (-u-)
On that, being able to see not only how many peope viewed the chapters, but posts we make too, would be nice!
And if I was able to access this information on mobile? that would be GREAT

Thanks for always trying to improve the experience!

How frequently would you say that you use the creator dashboard?
-Mostly daily
What do you primarily use it for?
Stadistics, followers , donations
And, most importantly, what kinds of improvements and/or features would you like to see in the future?
More engage tools, analytics and some way to get a report of subscribed fans

How frequently would you say that you use the creator dashboard?
Not much. I only use it when I need to check or change something.

What do you primarily use it for?
Same reason as everyone.

And, most importantly, what kinds of improvements and/or features would you like to see in the future?

  1. Do not compress PNG files upon upload. By doing so, this enables creators to upload animated PNG files.
  2. Chapter and pages re-ordering.
  3. Edit/replace a single file from an episode.
  4. Set multiple genres for your comics.

How frequently would you say that you use the creator dashboard? (Give us your best guesstimate!):
I use it extremely frequently, I like seeing everything laid out at once, I wish there were more view options or that it was easier to upload and insert comic pages.

What do you primarily use it for? (Do you like to see how your story is doing on a daily basis, check out how that inkage you’ve collected, or reply to your supporters?)
I like to see how my story is doing, for sure (my comics arent that popular yet ;3;) but I also like to view how the pages will look before posted and check my queue and queue pages.

And, most importantly, what kinds of improvements and/or features would you like to see in the future?
I'd love to see more robust options for uploads, and more customizability, It would be cool to edit already posted pages without having to reupload. I'd like to see where my views are coming from, (internet search, keyword search, etc). It might also be cool to have a 'if you like this comic check this', option for people, grouping similar stories. Easier gif and video upload would be great too, or even a video comic/gif comic option for the site.
