I'm always checking out Kickstarter projects, saw the Lunarbaboon Kickstarter..
followed the trail that lead me to Tapastic..
and that led me here.. Mighty Glad
I found it through a webcomic hosting sites list somewhere. And started uploading my old comic because of a school assignment on most of them but Tapastic was the only site I found unable to leave after the assignment was over
I followed all my favourite inkblazers comics to tapastic. Which is basically how I found Inkblazers - Raven Wolf was there so I registered at Inkblazers to read it. I haven't seen ads from both sites anywhere.
Forces Google+ account > discovery of Gamercat > Gamercat's personal site > reluctant sign up for Tapastic > Read for a few months > bought drawing tablet > started series > the rest is history.
My friend started posting her comic here and recommended it to me, a few months later I actually started using the site. I'm so glad I did too!
I kept seeing comics I read moving exclusively to Tapastic. I tickled the thought of trying my hand at uploading here. I didn't want to initially because I assumed it to be a waste of time, my comic would sit in the dump just like SmackJeeves where only a couple people read it. Turns out I was wrong and I am happy to be here and have met many wonderful people and new friends.
Heey me too. I love Gamercat :3
I kept seeing it get linked by one of the artists I follow on tumblr. So i checked it out, didn't think much of it then. But then I suddenly got an idea for a comic and the rest was history.
Found out about Tapastic when I was on a forum dedicated to webcomics and I saw a post about Inkblazers closing and someone mentioned Tapastic there.
Someone mentioned it on Naver (the Korean version of LINE) back when I was actively looking for professional platforms. Tapastic isn't what I was looking for at the time, but boy, am I glad I found this place!
Me three! Gamercat's awesome!
Highfive! Seems everyone from inkblazers moved here : D (and I'm one of them as well~)
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....
I... forget
no wait, I found it because one of the comics I read on DA updates more here! so... I joined :v yep...
inkblazers shut down -_- so i went looking for new places
I guess you can call it shear luck, baby.
I had literally been posting to inkblazers for a couple of days when I heard the news.
Some shuck was advertising Tapastic on a non-tapastic webcomic. Crude marketing, but that's how I got here.
Moved here as soon as I heard "Inkblazers shutting down".
They had a table at Wondercon a few years back and they dropped me a link when I was browsing the artist alley.
I've never been to this site.
Wait....
... where am I?
