How do I turn off ad notifications?

I don't care if there's a special event related to a comic I'm not reading. I want to know if anyone knows how to get rid of those notifications so i don't get them anymore.

Maybe it’s just because I’m old and cynical, but I don’t understand the ad-based business model. We are inundated with so many ads in a day that we’ve become used to ignoring them. If a pop up comes up we look for the X without even noticing the product that’s being advertised. And I can only speak for myself, but pissing me off by flooding my inbox with fake notifications is the absolute last way you will ever manage to get me interested in your product (pay-to-read comic/novel).

But I suppose I don’t need to understand it. That’s why I fix cars for a living instead of running a multimillion dollar web site…

Unfortunately recently they integrated add notifications into normal ones and you can't turn them off...

You can't, best you can do is just mark them as read. Which sucks, tbh.
