How do you all make your panels?

How do you guys design your panels? I do my art by hand and have a hard time keeping them consistent when drawing them by hand. How do you guys keep them all uniform? Do you draw them digitally and then print them out or what?

I used a grid ruler, aligning it with the sides of the page to keep everything as straight as possible.

I have a comic page template on photoshop that I work inside.

Would it help you to make templates for yourself? Like a template of the page size you need and a few more smaller ones you can trace around for panels?

I do it all digitally, because of time. But I understand your worries about being consistent; the struggle is the same.

i do it digitally. dont have time to be messing up doing that traditionally save time and money

Since I make comics digitally using medibang I just use their panel tool, which is pretty convenient. I know there's other programs with something similar like firealpaca and manga studio. As for situations where i'm thumbnailing or am only capable of doing things traditionally a ruler or that 90 degree ruler work okay to keep things lined up

I use clip studio and have a template set for my comic

I use a triangle ruler =) This makes panelling very convenient because you work parallel to the page borders due to the markings.

My measurements are 2cm from the bottom and 1,5 cm from the other page borders. As you can see I just have to place the ruler where I want and voilà =)

From a How-to-draw-manga-manga by Akira Toriyama I learned that the horizontal spaces have to be bigger than the vertical ones. So for horizontal ones I take the bottom of the numbers printed on the triangle ruler (sould be ~8mm), for the vertical ones I use the end of the mm markings (~3mm)

Well, for Slugworld I print out a paneled template and then re-line the panels in Illustrator, but that's really only convenient because I use the exact same size panels for every page.
For more complicated comics I usually draw everything slightly outside where I want the panels to be and then arrange and line/mask the panels in Illustrator.

i draw my pencil random on my pages... I scan and Make all the panels with Manga studio. I ink everything there too and transfer the result to Photoshop to complete the lettering and coloring.

Since I draw traditionally a ruler and a triangle ruler are all I need. Just doing them with pencils and account for where I would break panel before inking. But I know that you can have a comic page template for many programs (I use clip studio paint). I never used it, so I don't have any tips on that ^^
