I'm fairly new on Twitter, and I've seen people tweet their tapas series that shows up with an image and summary instead of a plain text link.

I just uploaded my first manga3 on tapas, and everytime I test tweet with a link, it always shows up with just a plain text link,

I couldn't get it shows up with an image like this example here5

Is there a trick to have your tapas link shows up with an image on a tweet?

Do I have to have a banner image or something?

There's two ways!
You can use the links on your page (if it's connected to your twitter):

Or, write the message but post the link last in the message!
It's important that you only use one link, hashtags and @'s doesn't count.

So like: [Message, message, message! Occasional @, and a # here. Here be link: tapas.io/series/series-name]

Tbh, I rarely use the integrated tapas links. I'm almost always on my desktop, so I think it's easier to just write the links instead of having it automated.

Yay it works!!!! thanks a bunch!!!
My first successful tweet! :joy:
Although I'm surprised how pixelated the image is, lol

You're welcome! Glad I could help!
(the pixelated image could be due to the resolution on your image, or how you've cropped it.)
