Sorry if this is a stupid question and I'm the only one who don't know how to do it but this is something that's bugging me for a while now. It's very easy to do in animation, because you can just show all the moments of the action, but how do you do that in a comic? I imagine, for a simple nod or head shake you might not want to use up a lot of panels, or do you? Can you show it in one panel only? Do you just simply ignore nods and head shakes as an action completely and instead you solve it as part of the dialogue: aka the character saying "yes" or "no"? The latter is what I'm doing all the time because it just seems so hard to show visually.
If you've ever tried visualizing it, feel free to send a link to your comic page, I'm very curious to see it.
