How Do You Sleep?

Well this is more of a “how do you look when you sleep” question.

I remember a few months ago (June) my family went on vacation with another family and I was friends with their daughter who was only a year younger than me.

Not only did I meet someone who actually took interest in the stuff I am creating, but she revealed the weird realization that…

People sleep differently.

She said that when I’m sleeping, I look like I don’t care. Which got me thinking. This could also be transferred to characters. The way you look when you sleep can say a lot about your personality.

So if anyone has told you how you look when you sleep, then do share! I don’t know why but it really interest me to know the different ways people sleep.

I've been told I'm a pretty wild sleeper by family, especially given I very rarely hold a single position throughout the night. I've even been told I sometimes look or sound like I'm fighting someone in my sleep, which to be honest knowing how my dreams tend to go is probably true.

I think I could safely be compared to the way the villager in acnh looks when they wake up from the dream suite

I sleep on my side all curled up on myself. I actually need to cuddle blankets and pillows so I don't hurt my back and shoulders. And I don't move much at all. If I do I essentially log roll in one spot just to turn in the other direction.

My brother on the other hand, slept so wildly that he still will fall off his bed and continue to sleep on the floor. He's 15. Smh.

Well, a cousin told me once I look dead when I sleep. (Because I sleep on my back really silently apparently.) Then again, I did once slap one of my friends in my sleep so idk how well that holds up.

One leg should always be on the blanket. Always. Because the scariest thing in my bed is me, not monsters.
If there's a wall, I will definitely be bumping into it. It's a childhood habit from when I poked a hole in a wall... Also this way ghosts had no way of harming me, because I don't see their lights i.e. the red lights of TV, or the blue light of a night light, they creeped me out

Oof, haha, I always put my bed against the wall, preferably where I can see the door in case of monsters idk, it's a weird habbit

The Blue Boy is always watching me, so I really prefer not to look back at him

I'm a thrasher. Never in one spot, in fact I often wake up with random pains from my chaotic sleeping movement. I also sleep really hard, I don't wake up for anything besides my alarm in the morning.

I used to sleep on my stomach but it kept causing sleep paralysis. So now I sleep on my side with pillow against my stomach to prevent my from rolling onto my stomach.

It is funny that you mentioned shonen battles though. I've woken up punching and kicking a few times. Really pisses my wife off because I end up screaming too

I usually fall asleep sprawled out all over the bed on my stomach, though I often wake up on my back. Who knows what happens in between 🤣

Whoa, that's literally the same exact same way I sleep. But that's when I'm actually trying to sleep, other times I tend to pass out completely by accident while being on my phone in bed lol

I sleep with my eyes open. Not totally open, but you'd see my scleras. It was scary, they said.

My younger brother does this and it was always the most terrifying thing ever. He looks like a blonde demon when he sleeps. And he can fall asleep pretty easily in a car, so it was pretty common to see his head lolled off to the side, supported by the seatbelt, his mouth partially open, and the white of his eyes gleaming behind his lashes. He looked possessed.

I can almost see a comic about person sleeping in public like this and someone falls in love with them. Maybe even assuming them to be a demon. I guess I have an idea for comic now, who wants to work for free with me

From pictures, I look pretty relaxed and sorta dead. On a non-picture account, I moved a lot at times before; but now I just sleep motionless, give or take one small movement . Another account was when I was sleeping as if my body was looking for air
