Having a structured schedule helps-- I usually get home, rest a little, cook/ do some chores, then draw for an hour before going to sleep.
I also try to separate my process into parts: composition, take references, sketches, line art, flats, lighting, backgrounds etc. I try to get a part done each day; they give me checkpoints and something to look forward to the next day.
You could also find ways to streamline your drawing process to make things easier.
