How long did it take you to get in the ''popular'' tag?

We've been on and off of the popular and trending boards lately, but never really both at the same time. Took us about a week from regular updates.

I've never been in the popular tag but I've been in trending plenty of times.

I think I wound up on the popular tag the one time I was featured on daily snack, but that's just the one time. A couple of times after that I've seen it creep up on trending, but never very high

I suppose it's somewhat common for comics to crop up in Trending from time to time? What are the requirements? I imagine the Popular tab requires a large amount of subscribers as well as frequent activity? I still don't know how this site works. ;-;

Nightlight was on the Trending tab on the front page the day it went up and stuck around in that section for a little while before disappearing. My 15 minutes have come and gone so quickly :'D

Comics can pop up in Trending when the series is getting a lot of views/likes/comments in the past hour or so. Popular is pretty much the same but over a longer period of time.

I never got into the popular. It's sad but I just can't get that traction. I did get into trending once last year but that's about it.

Now if you don't mind I'm just gonna crawl under my blankets and cry...

Cosmos Song started showing up on the popular and trending lists in the middle of last month according to my fiance, so it took about 2 months since the comic's launch to start doing that. If he hadn't checked, I probably would have never noticed that it ever ended up in popular or trending in the first place, as I don't actively check xD.

Now it seems I tend to show up in both lists now if i've recently updated.

I actually don't think Radio Silence has trended before, at least from what I've seen. Looking forward to the day when I catch that! I've only recently started to do proper page by page updates so I think that might have something to do with it.

Never been popular in anything, so I can't say. Given the nature and youth of my project being hosted here, along with me generally being a newbie, I don't see my comic getting much attention. While it would to cool to experience a flood of people liking your work, I'm fine with hiding in my little corner of the internet, too much positive attention makes me nervous anyways. <_<

City of Blank had a pretty good start on Tapastic, so it was showing up in the popular section within the first few days of me posting. But this was just because I was posting several pages a day in the beginning.
Ironically, I had a way easier time getting it into the popular section when I had less followers than I do now? I think I'm still recovering from a hiatus, but basically I think the system saw 100 favs on a page really good when I only had 1000 followers but now that I'm nearing 2000, 100 favs on a page isn't enough to get me onto the front page. It's a little frustrating and honestly has me a little concerned that I'm getting an increase of subscribers but not favs/views/comments. |D I just hope I'm not losing peoples' interests?
