SAAAAME~ Childhood comics before you knew what a comic was~

I think my first comic was when I was 7(?), and it was an action styled comic XD I know I've lost that thing somewhere, but I was real excited about it.

And then Captain Underpants got me even more excited to do comics. I remember getting those books and just skipping to the part where Harold and George showed their work. ^^

THIS particular comic(Ray Thunder) I first conceived in 2002, but never got it off the ground after I went into a hiatus in 2003. I finally came back to it in 2015, and decided to develop it more and turn it into a webcomic.

I have a print series The Clique, that I started working on 1996 as an experiment. I finally got serious about turning it into a comic series in 1999 and it took off from there. The comic was black & white at that time- I was just starting to learn to color digitally, but when I went on comic hiatus in 2003 I shelved the series(I was midway through issue #5). I started back working on comics in 2013, picking The Clique back up & remastering it- adding color and changing the dialogue.

Candace 'n' Company turns 13 in May, but has been on Tapas since 2016, and in print since 2011.

I've had a general idea for my comic for a few years at least but didn't think I had the skills to actually draw or write it out.
I still don't, but figured I may as well put it out there and see how much I can improve this year.

Our 2 year annvr was Oct 17!

We started posting The Pale online Oct 2015, but the idea for it came in May 2013.

So the idea is going to be 5 years old soon (and hopefully at least 5 or 6 chapters/issues done this year too).

The story itself for Pandaemonium is 9 years old ^^ Back in 2009 I made an attempt to draw it , got discouraged fast, but continued with the writing nonetheless!
I officially started the comic 1 year ago

I have worked on The Machinist for two years now. Another two should be needed to finish it, but since I already have the next Comic in mind, I won't run out of material any time soon

I've been working 3 years off and on with my main series Foxtales and about 2 years of development on my other comic Nattoppet, mainly reworking but I'm hoping to have it written out fully before the year end so I can get into properly producing the comic itself. There are other stories I've spent time thinking about and planning that probably go back as far as 2010-2011 but none of them have really seen the light of day yet.

fridge and bear is six months old but it sure doesnt feel like it!

but ive been working with the characters for over a year now. they were characters in my senior film for college.

Thank you! The first 6 years were just about drawing jokes for family and occasionally sending them off to be rejected by publishing syndicates. It was really nice when I finally got in 1 newspaper.

Red Guardians and Dreams have been since 2012 but Red Guardians has been re-booted and might be again.. Birthmarks has bee around since 2013 and has been re-booted 2014? 2015? It also might get rebooted again. Masked Truths (my first/only completed comic) has been around 2009-2012 and I completed it in 2016.Everything has been on and off because of school, art-blocks, and new ways of looking at the stories,
