I’ve been writing since 2004,I think around 2006 is when I first uploaded a Sailor Moon fan fic. I made my first original work back in 2010.

I would share my writing and drawings occasionally with family or at school when I was little, but I was generally very private about sharing any creations. I've definitely written my share of fan-fiction, hehe. Fast-forward many years, and I've posted my comic here. This is the first thing I've shared online. I've been reading webcomics for years, so I wanted to give it a try myself. I've definitely learned a lot, anyway.

I started sharing my artwork and stuff about my comic online around 2019, beginning with my current Instagram account which was originally my personal social media account until I shifted focus entirely to my artwork. I have archieved most posts from before 2019 since they contain my face and I wanted to keep an air of anonymity but anyways, this was the first time I had actively tried to get my comic out there because before then, I was mostly keeping it to myself. I was admittedly too scared to post anything or try to find communities to talk about series in because I was (and still somewhat am) afraid of mass ridicule for something I cared deeply about. I guess growing up watching videos of adults making fun of artwork done by children and sometimes treating cringe like someone would murder does something to a teenager. But mostly, I didnt have anything to show since I was still developing my artistic skills. But by 2019, I felt like I had progressed enough to draw the comic proper, and so I felt I was ready to begin sharing stuff about it and posting it when I had drawn the first couple of pages. Funnily enough, I didnt start posting my stuff to tapas until 2 years after the fact, because even in 2019, I felt insecure about sharing my comic on actual comic hosting sites XD

I started sharing art on scratch in… (checks my account) 2022. Jan 3rd to be precise. I had an older account, but it wasn’t really art stuff and I unshared most everything. I don’t think I even did digital art back then since I shared some colored pencil drawings.

online? ive been talking about my stories since i was 12, i think. i used to tell people irl about my stories waaay back, like in elementary and early middle school, but by high school i had stopped because people thought i was annoying. i remember one time i attempted to explain my worlds magic system to my friend in grade 12 and they interrupted me to tell me i was boring :')

but that was mostly just talking about my stories, rather than actually sharing what i had written - i did share a bit of that, but not a lot. its only in the last few years ive started to more earnestly share my writing, whether poetry or stories, and then in january i also began publishing my comic

I used to have my comics published weekly in the school newspaper from 1988-1991, so 35+ years. Here on Tapas it's been since September 2022

I used to do picture books in the 80s of fantasy stuff with other kids.

90s was more hand written on line paper short stories and OC raw sketches. I eventually had them typed up onto a floppy disk. And printed them off to share in small cardstock folder with metal pinch prongs. Which Canadians call a duatang. Still have one copy of each and it on a floppy. I also did local school anthologies and contests. And newspaper ads for local charities.

Early 2000s I was in college so did half tradtional written stories + mixed media art. And Digital. But also took my coding skills from the 80s + 90s courses and put my art online my first domain site. And still have been online, with a domain since.

In 2012 was part of the local comic cons art dept.
Since 2019 onward I've had short stories printed in books from local authors and done in person - huge event art galleries in Toronto too.

So its been a decades I guess.

i'm in 8th grade now. i started writing a novel on march 11, 2025 and my friend and i drew a comic on paper and posted it on march 30, 2025. :3

The school paper was weekly, so more like Sunday newspaper comics. I occasionally did some political cartoons in it too.

Well I started my book series in 2019 and joined a professional comics group to help me make it. So approximately six years now. Though it’s only been published since 2023.

Its called BIST its short for the Brain Injury Society of Toronto.
The event is called Expressive Art Show. Lasts a month. Its digtially online all the time and updates yearly. But the month long in person event.... I can't make it in person. Cars and motion and me dont mix with my epilepsy well. But people take video and pics for me, where my canvas prints are hanging.
They do a free yearly gallery for any brain injury survivor from (in) Canada. To submit any type of art as long as it fits within the size requirements. Every year the venue is changed to different galleries. Last year it was 3 floors for the show. I sold one piece my first year.

Ive also done the exhibition here in London, ON. (Canada).

I started sharing my artwork on DeviantArt back in 2014/2015! They're a mess though, I didn't know how to manage an art account yet. I moved to Instagram a year or two later (still a mess, ahaha!)

I started putting more effort into creating a more organized account in 2023, including publishing webcomics!

I think I started posting art on deviantart around 2006 or 07. POSSIBLY a little earlier but I would’ve been very young. I stopped posting around 2010 because the vibe of the site just wasn’t well suited to me anymore. By then Tumblr was peaking so jumping ship was easy.

Honestly nobody should have let me post art online at age 12 but oh well.
