How many hours do you work on your comic per day/week?

I generally spend about 3 hours a weekday and on saturday maybe closer to 7 hours. I'd say only 1 hour on the weekday is actually productivity to the comic. I spend a lot of art time more than half experimenting and finding my creative energy for the day.

I used to do the same amount of time for about 2 years, however before I was more strict about trying to meet buffers, productivity time, release dates etc...

I'm trying to restrict myself to 3 hours a day? I have school, so that has to come first.

Well, for my comic it kind of changes depending on the strip.

Depending on the quality of the strip, like backgrounds or number of panels, it may change. My longest time I think was 7-8 hours, but more recently, my best time has been clocked in at about 3 and half hours. But I don't color, only do black and white with greyscale shading, so I wouldn't really know proper times compared to everyone else.

I dont really keep track of it. Some weeks I may knock a couple hours here & there, while other weeks I may save it for the weekend and power through.

I work on avg 25+ hours a week. I have been keeping track of daily work and it's surprising how many hours I've clocked in so far.

I am not actually including the research part (or reading the script) it's pencil paper. So, it's really a whole lot more than the original number.
