How many of you want to turn your Webcomics/Novels into an animated or live action series?

Do any of you want to one day turn your comic or novel into a series, or even a movie? I would love turn my webcomic CrimiNET into an indie animated series for YouTube sometime in the future. How about you guys? (If live action, who would you cast as your characters?)

idk about turning it into an animated series, but at some point down the line, I want to make a movie for it that takes place between seasons 2 and 3. Not a movie OF a preexisting comic mind you, a movie that is its own story in the timeline of things. "The Ship With A Face, The Movie"

I literally decided to make it a comic because I knew I couldn't make an animated series all in my own. So yeah, if the opportunity ever arises I 100% would want to turn it into an animted series.

Caveat being, I want a minimum guarantee of quality of the series. I wouldn't want some lazy animation and suppar visuals. That would defeat the purpose for me.

Same, lol. I was fully planning to make my comic into an animated series, before eventually deciding I wanted to finish it within my lifetime. I would definitely be interested if a studio ever approached me.

I also sometimes like to imagine what a live action adaptation of my comic would look like, largely due to the abundance of superhero movies that exist these days. The special effects would be mad expensive, though, so it'll probably never happen.

I'd love an animated series of any of my stories! Even though I mostly write novels, I like to draw my characters and do the covers and some illustrations, so I have a very clear picture of what they would look like. Maybe if I'd paid attention in animation class I'd try to make a little short video, lol.

I would love for Elsie to both be live action and animated

Probably an animated series and a live action movie

Also all the sideshows would be filler episodes and perhaps with an animated series I could showcase deleted episodes or episodes that have went to the chopping block

Finally! I could do that HG Wells cameo! And have a Queen Victoria filler episode!

Also this may be a little too ambitious and something really really far down the road but I’m writing an Elsie Musical too!

I got a couple of songs for it written down on my piano

I play piano and have composed my own music in the past.

I would say yes to an anime or movie if they finished the entire series. Otherwise it wouldn't make much sense. As of right now I would pick the girl from Wednesday to play Baul. She looks young but isn't too young. And she is short with large eyes.

I never really set out to have an adaptation though the possibility was always in the back of my mind. I’ve been in talks for the past few years with several companies about adaptations to some of my work though. Not a guarantee it’ll happen but being a bit closer to it does get me excited (and incredibly nervous). I would definitely like it but I wouldn’t know what to do once I got there.

Seeing Alterria get an animated adaptation would be incredible. But I kinda doubt I'll live to see it happen.

Maybe someday, if it's good enough or gains a big enough fan following over the years.

I kinda always write everything with the idea of an animated series in mind; live-action just doesn't feel like it would fit the vibe for anything I try to write, except for the creative non-fiction short stories.

Like my new series, "The Herald of Death," is heavily inspired by anime and light novels, so that's how I'd love for it to be portrayed rather than live-action, if by some miracle it came to that xD

Someday, that'd be cool. If it's a team of people who are passionate about animation, and want to have me on as part of the process for things--hell yeah. That's sort of a pipe dream/wish, but the idea makes me smile. :}

I have music made for the comic, so it'd be neat to work with composers who can take it to a whole new level for something like animation. Would love to see the direction of that for sure, and to hear any new ideas they have for it.
