How many people actually look in "Fresh"?

I browse the Fresh tab very infrequently, maybe a couple of times per year. When the Tapas Fight Club comic was released, I checked the tab daily for a week more to figure out how the system worked.

Keep in mind that results might vary depending on whether you are asking about the Fresh Comics or the Fresh Novels since they are different lists.

I do use it sometimes, but the fact there are only thumbnails (website) or very little of the summary (mobile) make it difficult of use for comics and absolutely useless for novels.

Maybe twice a month... but mostly outta curiosity if I show up. I sometimes look at staff picks and look to see if there are any categories the staff is not looking at.

I always used Fresh to find things to read, but now that my library of comics and novels updates regularly, I haven't looked at Fresh in months probably. I won't look for more stuff again until I notice my library doesn't update anymore, I guess.

I took a look at it quite regularly (every day or two) during a couple of months after I had registered on Tapas. I liked that it contain all recently updated comics, not only popular, featured or premium. So I found some interesting and original works here, which weren't popular and weren't mentioned at forum, so I couldn't find them in another way.
But now I've already found so many of interesting comics, that I even have no opportunity to read them all... so now I rarely seek a new ones and haven't visited this category for a long time already.

My free time to be able to go out and find new comics fluctuates and can often be limited.

But when I do have free time the fresh section is the first place I start the search.

I just go to all comics, pick a genre and sort by date.

im rarely on the hunt for new comics to follow, and only look in fresh maybe every other month when im really bored? but i have found some true gems that way

I like to read comics on my phone. I guess because I'm on the computer all day and isn't very relaxing to read comics at my desk, plus the format is just so much better on phones. And when you're on the phone app there really isn't any choice but looks at the fresh page.

my app is pretty glitchy for me, so I almost never use it to find new content. I just open it to read the comics I'm already subbed to.

I actually pick up the comics I read from the forums. This place is pretty amazing to gauge an artist's personality. And then, from his/her personality to extrapolate on how his comic might be. I don't say I am always right, but it is a method with a decent success rate.

Going into the Fresh section makes me worried, for some reason. I fear new comics might get abandoned fast if they do not reach the level of interest they desire and then, I am left stranded and feeling empty, not getting my fix.

I always feel like since people are on the forums, they are more committed to the Tapas community and this increases the probability they will keep on updating. Less of the heartbreak. Mind you, these are most probably baseless assumptions and I might be discriminating in a pretty bad way against the Fresh section, too. (Which is obviously not something I do out of spite.)

I use to check it daily but now I'm currently watching all the new comics being released and giving my recommendations on my profile page. That's been great fun. So I might check Fresh once o week now.

I go straight on the "fresh" section since I'm here for the indie comics and I get frustrated when I pick a "premium" one and don't have any ink to unlock it T.T

I'm under the impression that not a lot of people check the fresh section. No wonder, since it's not that visible .__. (speaking of desktop site - i haven't seen the app so i've got no idea if it isn't even worse there)

I check it occasionally, and found a bunch of good comics there. I can agree it is very useful in finding things that aren't just the same popular comics you see on the front page, premium, or series on hiatus.
I used to check it more often, but now my bookmark list of comics to read has gotten so long it's overwhelming, so I guess I gotta get through these first, and only then find more series.

I'm making a point to pretty much only look at fresh. As far as I can tell, it's the only tab that has a chance of showing writers that aren't big. I'd rather read and support the new and underappreciated.

I check it rarely, mostly because I'm already subbed to way more comics than I have time to keep up with. My library's around 100 currently and I frequently have 50-60 unread notifications. I'm much more likely to add another to the heap through word of mouth or from the forums
