Whenever I can, which, unfortunately, isn't very often.
Back when I began the West I was posting one or two pages a week, now I'm lucky to get out two pages a month. I didn't have a job then, having just moved to new village, and now my job/personal life is so demanding that I have no time at all. I don't have a particular day I post on, either, but as many of my days off are Tuesdays it often ends up being that evening, provided everyone leaves me alone.
It's very easy to slip into this mentality-- feeling responsible for every little delay and beating yourself up about it. Hard not to care, isn't it? Glad you're in a good frame of mind about it now. That must have taken some serious work, and I'm sure it's not always so black and white, especially on those weird days where you want to hurl the whole thing out the window.
For me there is no question-- West is just a personal project that I do not bring up in sensible conversation. It's easy to justify pauses, delays, and disappointments when you believe you're doing the responsible thing. Gotta wonder what would happen if you stopped doing what was expected of you and started doing what you wanted, instead, though. People here have started to make me think it's actually possible too.
