Im 33, turning 34 this month,
I started doing comics when I was 17 but drifted apart for about 10 years, while
doing music and pursuing other dreams.
needless to say, went back to comics and it has been very good to be back home.

Heheheheeee...I gotta say this even tho it's June 7, 2017
I'm 63!!! Living my dream! Learning how to make a comic.
It ain't easy, but I'm forging ahead.
Eagle1, if you ever get a chance to read this, I say
success to you and many happy returns!

I spent way too long making a new chart tallying the ages in this thread (I accounted for ages in 2015-16 posts by adding years but of course it's not gonna be 100% accurate)

H:3llo, I'm Ghost and I'm 20. A student studying to be a Graphic Design, I love writing and drawing. My family calls me a Cartoon Character, because of my quirky nature.

I'm 27, which I constantly forget! XD wake up some days thinking off handedly that I'm 22, and other days that I'm 30??? So basically, who even knows anymore lolol

1 month later

I'm only 19, my birthday is the 25th! So i'll be 20 soon! I've been drawing since I was around 4 (My father is a professional artist) but I've only just recently got into comics! Still figuring things out!

20 over yonder here, been drawing since High School. One more year till' I'm allowed to drink. I don't know whether to look forward to it or be apprehensive...

Just wanted to kudos for the graph, because data! Looks like mid-20s is the average/mode, but there's a pretty long tail towards the upper range (which is awesome, I like reminding myself art isn't just something young people do).

15 as well, though writing about college students is just as easy as I expected. I've been developing my main comic for 3 years, doodling small unnoticed comics for 4, and finally published my big one on Tapastic 3 and a halfish weeks ago!

I'm almost 30.... so old?

28 myself, been making comics for 5 years now, there was some doodling in high school but nothing ever serious.

I'm 14 - guess that counts as young! I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, but I got into the webcomics thing a little over a year ago :>

I'm 36, been drawing comics since I was a kid but I started getting more serious about them 11 years ago.

My experience with drinking is as long as you know your limits, you don't have as much trouble. I'd recommend having your first few drinking experiences at home or another safe environment with trusted friends/family if that's a thing you can do feasibly. I realize that's not generally how life works, but trying stuff out when I wouldn't have to drive or be alone or with strangers worked wonders for me.

Hey! :tv: "I Have Owned/Watched a BW TV!" Why? Cuz me & my sister ran blocks away to catch Star Trek on a neighbor's color TV! hehehe...yeah, when Star Trek first came on (1968)!

I'd luv to join cuz Dad n family (may he rip) traveled from east to west coast and literally had to drink from a colored fountain. Man, we traveled across Route 66! Was in Germany when the Beatles invaded America! Drew Yellow Submarine type of art on the chalk board with classmates (teacher's assignment). I feel like I'm a history shout out! :kissing_cat:
