How old are your main characters?

The main characters in my current story are in the typical range as well. Claudia and Desquicio are mid 30s, the madman is late 20s.

In previous stories, my MCs used to be around 15-20, but in part because of animes and the 14 year old protagonists who could as well be 25, I progressively started making my characters older.

In My current story the main Characters age range is between 19-28 years. The main guy Chris Dover being a young looking 23 year old, Molly Nicole 19, John Cater 26 and Dr Miser being 28
Which is funny since before that every character I wrote were normally 6-14 years. I might go back writing those kinds again. I have never really done a really old one before, maybe because I just never have that much experience being old...ok thats a dumb reason but I just never felt huge desire to write them.

Across all the characters, my youngest one is 12. The oldest one is around 30. I've never had a character that's older than that. Well...I've definitely had supporting/minor characters that are parents/grandparents/etc, but my main casts have always been young teens to late twenties.

One of my comics the main character is about 7 or 8 but grows up to be in her late teens so I dunno if that counts.

in my comic the main characters is around 18 to 25, except for one who's around 200 - 300

while my novel, the main character is around 30+

The main characters in "The Action Fruit Society", which takes place in the mainstream continuity of Amazement Comics, are 16 years old at the start of the series. Then they will be 17 years old by the end of the series. As of the end of season 2, they're still 16 years old.

I tend to write young adult, my current comic the MCs are all teens in school so 15-18yr olds. But many of my fav characters are the adults, they're not MCs but they're all much much older- like parents and stuff.

Characters in my story range from 5 - 80 - I'm an ageless god.

Secondary and side characters can be any age just fine for me, lead characters though are a different story, I'm not going to write a lead character who is too much older then me, basically because I have not lived that age yet to know the little nuisances that would go into being that age that I usually like to include in characters to make them feel more real, something that's going to be a lot more important to factor in when you're dealing with character leads. When I get to that age, then you'll of course see more older characters as lead characters pop up.

This of course does not count those 'ageless' or 'Actually I'm 1237 years old' characters.

Yeah, in both of my novel series, the main characters are around 20.

Well, in this one, the main character looks 17, but she's actually over three-hundred years old, so...

And I'm currently working on a new novel where most of the main characters are 21.

My main cast ranges from their early 20's to mid 30's, with 2 exceptions: The Web Dweller - who is centuries old, though you could never tell by looking at her and The Head Librarian who is in her 50's.

For Crow's Worth, the two MCs are 22 and 36.

Sugar Land. 13, 24, and 32.

There was a comic which I ended up dropping called Brother Butterfly, with the two brothers being in their 50s, and the sons being 24 and 6.

My protagonists are often in the 18-25 range because the majority of what I write has been New Adult lately, and the genre usually requires main characters to be around those ages. Other than that I've had protagonists that are between 30-40 years old, and in general, supporting characters can range from between 0 and 100 years old. (Or 1000+ if it's some kind of super-natural being. )

My main characters tend to be teenagers, yeah. Sanori is 17.

That said, I have a lot of backstory comics up on Tapas where the main characters are much younger than they end up being, lol. A lot of children in those.

the clown duo are 65 and 75. feels like they spend all their time arguing about the 1970s. they wear ties every day like it's normal. there is also a memorably devilish infant.

harris is 33 in sundown, and since spire is almost all vampires theyre range from their 60s-700s. the hunter robots are under 10yrs old excrpt for cog, whos 20.

each of my main hero characters are almost 200 years old, the main villain is over 1000 years old
