I've been posting on Tapastic since October (though it wasn't consistent) and been doing my comic as a whole for three years, twice a week updates, on my own site. I still haven't gotten the "big numbers" yet--it can take years to get a lot of exposure. In webcomics, it's all about the long game--the longer you're on the net, the more people will see you around, and be more willing to commit to your comic, and come back weekly. Still, it's frustrating to be hovering around 20-some subscribers for so long. The only thing to do is to keep working.
