It's hard for me to compare, I upgraded from a DS. I can definitely say it's better then the DS. lol. But the big thing people have told me that makes me happy to have the New 3DS, is the face recognition. I hear the old DS, you had to find "the sweet spot" to view the 3D. The New tracks your face and adjust the 3D so you can always see it. Viewing things in 3D is so awesome to me. I found an art app for the 3DS, that lets you make art in 3D. I've been loving that. It's called "3D Colors!"

I love the Zelda games mostly because of Link. He is one of my most favorite characters in anything even though I have not played most of the games. Only beaten Twilight Princess and ... Oh I still need to finish Skyward Sword. Lol Ive owned other ones. =)

What games do you play?

Hey dude! I'm Kate/Scampi Cub and I make West.

A little about me:

  1. My actual name is Katherine, but only when I'm in trouble.
  2. I have two best friends who are the English/American versions of each other. They have never met.
  3. I was blonde until the age of 18, then my hair turned unexpectedly brown. No I didn't dye it.

Whoa that is amazing. that the 3D has improved so much is really cool.
I'm playing Destiny right now, and I've loved most of the Telltale Games. And Dragon Age: Inquisition was lots of fun.

Hi Kate/Scampi Cub!
1. I will make sure not to call Katherine!
2. That's awesome! Now you just need to collect a set: France. Italy. Japan...
3. Whoa, that is wild! I was blonde till I was 3. Did you suddenly gain powers over nature or something?

No, I'm not on Steam, but I keep meaning to join it. Though I fear the amount of money I would spend.
Have you tried The YAWHG? Its a lot of fun!

lol yey!!!

FF7 was one of my first games I really got into. I was like 8 when I got it so I didn't understand what was happening. When FF8 came out I had a better grasp on things and became obsessed with it. Then went back and replayed 7. I've played those games over and over since! Never got to the end of 9 though XD

I lived in England for 6 years, New Zealand 1 year, and Germany for half a year although I would have liked to stay longer! I don't know why I left NZ lol. YOU SHOULD GO THERE!

I played through a lot of FF9. I thought it was pretty good. FF8 kinda confused me though.
I have a friend who is in New Zealand right now! She was in Queenstown, and now she's hitting some other areas of NZ. If I finally sit down and collect some money, I want to visit Japan. I have had A LOT of friends go to Japan and have a great time. They said I'd be the big cuddly bearded gaijin. Kind of like an American version of Totoro.

Haha, I don't think I've had to make any otherworldly sacrifices in the name of PC performance since about 2010. Also, The Last of Us is REALLY GREAT and is one of my favorite games, if not equal to Persona 4.

Yeah, they really worked the hunger for blood out of the system.
I remember on the last level how I had both dread and anger throughout it, knowing how it was going to to end, and also not giving a damn. Really, the entire game is a work of art.

lolol ^^

-There really isn't!! I mean I don't want to live forever cuz that would get boring fairly quickly BUT I just want to gain all the knowledge the world has to offer. I want to experience EVERYTHING!
-Exactly, but somewhere there there's gonna be a conversation about chocolates. And I won't even know how to back track ^^
-Status still in the process of achieving laughing

Yeah but think about it If dinosaurs were alive now, then technology would change accordingly. Instead of buildings and doors that are "normal sized" they'd be dino sized. Like Burj Khalifa in Dubai is as big as it is now. BUT, if we had dinosaurs, it would be even bigger because they'd have to fit the dino in there. OR even regular houses. Normal people would have what we would think if castles today 0.0

We should be able to tap out of life when WE want.
Imagine the real estate market where every house is literally a castle. Haha

But that's just it though! Since it would be the "norm" the prices would be soo different than what we have now. Like what the price of a 4 bedroom house In this world is (pretty standard for a singe family I think) would be what the price of a castle would be in this alternate world.
The reason house prices are different from castle prices is because of the labor. But since now castles are the norm, that's all they make so they've already found faster ways to produce the castles.

THERE IS A STORY IDEA HERE FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS IT stuck_out_tongue

Castleland! Okay that is not a great name. Haha
But jokes aside, yeah it sounds like this idea has some legs on it!

I'm gonna join this too, it sounds fun.

  1. I don't have a favorite dinosaur (I usually don't have a favorite thing) but there are some still-living animals I like very much, like Pitangus sulphuratus (which is part of a bird gang that comes to steal barn from our only barn-made flower pot and to poop on our plants) and Myrmecophaga tridactyla, the giant anteater. And I like illustrations with animals, as you can probably predict. Extra: and I'm not furry.

  2. I have some favorite smells: one that I think is from Ruta graveolens (common rue), from Jasminum plants and that nice smell of rain.

  3. I like traditional media, specially pencils (graphite and colored) and pastels.

Oh and this is my series1.

I'm glad you joined in, because it IS fun!
1. So you LIKE the animals that steal from you and crap on your stuff? Okay. You like a little foul with your fowl. Giant ant-eaters are friggin' awesome, totally agree. And I never thought you were furry, so you're good.
2. Jasimin plants do smell amazing. I really like how gardenias smell too. And I think my favorite smell is black tea. Before it gets seeped.
3. OG way, I totally respect that. You like your art to feel hand-made with love.

Apparently, Disney agrees with you. haha

  1. My favorite dino is Parasaurolophus. I think I like these guys because of their interesting head. It's very unique and seems like something straight out of a fantasy. They feel like they should be a made up dinosaur but it really existed. I swear it did! I saw it's skeletons in a museum once ;D

  2. The Aquabats are my inspirational heroes. They inspire me to pursue my goals and never give up because they never did.

  3. I may just be the most boring happy fun loving person you'll ever meet. I don't play video games or watch tv, I draw comics, listen to silly happy music, and on occasion get up and dance around the room with my cats watching in horror. It's a good time.

I used to work at Disneyland... I guess they were listening to me after all!
1. I believe you! It is an awesome looking dinosaur. You chose wisely!
2. The Bat Commander is my spirit animal! The Aquabats are rad... SUPERRAD.
3. You just described a very cool person. Congrats!

It's nice to meet you all, I've been a Tapastic reading lurker since 2013 but only recently started uploading my art sturffs.
If life goes according to plan (LOL) I will be uploading a comic series up later this year.

•1• Hmm my favorite dinosaur growing up is a toss up between the Triceratops and the Apatosaurus. Thanks to Don Bluth's influence, no doubt.
My very first Free Comic Book Day comic (we were only allowed one comic per kid back then) I chose Cadillacs and Dinosaurs because dinosaurs + muscle cars in a post-apocalyptic world setting!!!! It couldn't get any better than that! I still have that issue as well as the full collection of Xenozoic on my shelves. blush

•2• I keep Christmas lights up in my room year round. (mostly white but multi-colored are good too.)

•3• My parents let me stay up to watch Wagner's Complete Ring Cycle when I was just a wee munchkin (under ten years old) and I stayed awake for the entire thing glued to the TV completely mesmerized. O_O
THAT was the beginning of my life long friendship with all things fantasy. XD
