Hi there! I'm a newbie (noob?) here and I'm trying to of course get readers/friends/comrades/war buddies. Who isn't right? Here's my comic The Shrouded City40. Read it. Don't read it. I'm here for you anyway.

ANYHOO...

You all seem like cool cats, so I wanted to get to know you better. So I've decided to reveal 3 Facts about myself, and you can reveal any ol' 3 Facts about yourself in return. Sound Good? No? TOO BAD CUZ HERE COMES THE TRUTH TRAIN!!

  1. My favorite dinosaur is the Ankylosaurus4. Why? Cuz when I was a kid, I thought it would make the perfect pet. Seriously. 20 odd years later and my reasoning has barely changed.

  2. I have only broken one bone in my entire body. It was my right arm. I wish I should say it was because of all my Xtreme Sports I did, but it wasn't.

  3. No, I have never done Xtreme Sports. But I am really good at D&D so...

Okay, now you spill your guts! (And share a link to your comic, if ya have one)

Ok ,anybody who looks like silent Bob and has a comic also ending in city is find by me.

Hi I'm Aron and I have a comic named Talesfromswipecity2

before anything it would be rude not to answer your facts about yourself.
1. my favorite dinosaur is the triceratops that I have always sworn is related to the black Rino but no bugger believes me (heretics!)
2. would you like to swap? over the years I have broken bones in hands and arms and feet and my shoulder in a rock climbing accident.
3. as a little brother DnD was the time all my bros mates come round and i got sent to bed frowning ( Heretics!)

ok my turn...

  1. even though I am 45 in March my family know I will never grow up (pa!) hence the t-shirt I was given for Christmas
  2. my fave book is Peter Pan

  3. The only thing I want from life is to be a Dad. but we don't always get what we want so I'll just keep my inner child.

I think anybody that makes comic books has to not grow up, at least a little.

What's the "Naughty Step"?

Hey, man, checked out your comic and I am very intrigued so far! Here's three facts about me:

  1. Although I love RPG's, I have never played D&D... more of a WoD kind of guy here, though I've played a ton of other systems. smile
  2. I have gone skiing exactly once. The story does not end well.
  3. I make killer stir fry. But it won't actually kill you, I promise.

Btw, I subbed to your comic cuz of the coolness factor. Please check out mine: Beast Bait1!

I'm fairly newb too so any feedback you have on my comic I would love to hear!

Dude, I started on RPG career on World of Darkness! Mage was the first thing I ever tried out and I loved it. The system was pretty good, and the story was nice and weird.
I looked at skiing once and just kinda Noped right out of it. You're braver than I.
I make some freaking good mashed potatoes. I like to call them Butter Basil Mashed Potatoes. They will kill you, because "butter" is the main ingredient right after "potato."
I'm right in the middle of looking at your comic and you got some sharp writing going on! Nice

Funny coincidence, I might be doing illustration for the company that makes that game.

World of Darkness. And thanks. I'm still working on my submission pieces and trying to draw a comic for here.

Hey there! I write and draw Grassblades2, which is finely tuned to appeal to the demographic who likes very grumpy swordsmen, semi-mute little girls, ladies with attitude and demons with too many teeth.

My favourite dinosaur is ALSO an ankylosaurus! Specifically the paravertebra Minmi2. It's the cutest! <3 I've never broken ANY bones in my body, and the only contact I've had with tabletop roleplaying is via the Friends at the Table-podcast.

Onwards to my three things to tell you!

1.) I am a tea-junkie. I've got an entire set of shelves dedicated to the tins in which I keep my loose-leaf tea. I got a tea-calendar for Christmas last year, and spent all of December drawing personifications of the 24 different types of tea as 24 different Tea Witches2.

2.) My thumbs are super-flexible. I can bend the top joint of them backwards more than 90 degrees.

3.) I once read our big, 600+ page cookbook cover to cover as a kid. For fun. I can still remember which page my favourite cookies are on (568).

normally is a bottom step of the stairs where you make 3 year old sit when they have been naughty lol

Oh hey, yeah, Grassblades is awesome! I'm already a sub on that. smile
Ankylosaurus' are just the best.
1. I love me some tea as well. Never liked coffee. But tea is where its at. Earl Grey and most of the black teas are my favorite.
2. Ow. (But you're okay, so that's good)
3. My mom's oatmeal chocolate chip walnut cookies are my favorite forever. The recipe is written down, but I'm sure she's holding out on something.

Hi there !
my comic is called Backdoor2 (and no it's not a BL porn ;__; I didn't get the pun when I choose that title).

1.My favorite dinosaur is the Diplodocus, cause he looks nice and calm, and I like nice and calm people, like you know, he wouldn't eat somebody just like that.
2.The only piece of my body I ever broke was a tooth when I was 8, and I can shape my tongue into a clover (which is pretty disgusting but very impressive).
3. I've played for a while to D&D but only because my friends wanted to, I'm not a really big fan. My favorite RPG is eclipse phase, though I didn't have the opportunity to play to it more than twice.
4.I like talking about food, especially when I eat, and I once almost burn my kitchen while trying to cook chestnuts in a microwave.

Yeah, black tea is where it's at! <3 Green tea is nice too - I've tried some lovely senchas and gunpowders - but I really, REALLY like black tea. My absolute favourite right now is this chai blend with cardamom pods and pepper.

Not super-into Earl Grey - bergamot isn't really my - haha! - cup of tea! - but it's nice once in a while.

... I am intrigued by these cookies. You wouldn't happen to have the recipe lying around, would you?

My favourites are made with golden syrup and get all chewy in the middle of you make them right. <3

The only black tea I drink is Lapsang souchong, I really like the smoked taste. But mostly I drink green tea, my favorite is Hojicha, which is a Japanese roasted green tea, you can drink it at night, it's caffeine free.

Lapsang suchgong is tasty too! I can't drink too much of it, though - the smoky flavour is delicious, but it also does a number on my throat if I drink too much. >.< Never had hojicha - I've tried sencha and gen mai cha, but not that! - but the caffeine content doesn't really matter to me. I can down a big mug of strong black tea just before I go to bed and still sleep just fine.

I'm weird.

Hi! I have to say you have excellent taste on dinosaur. Ankylosaurus is badass and cute at the same time! I think my favourite one would be Liopleurodon. It left me a lasting impression after I saw a documentary on it in the Walking with Dinosaur series.
I'll take a look on your comic and give you some feedback in the comment section so stay tuned. My comic Numb1 is also in tapastic. Give it a go if you enjoy mystery stories involving ghosts, it updates once a week blush

NOW to those facts!

  1. One of my favourite books when I was a kid was BFG and I'm super hyped that the movie that they're making looks actually pretty swell so far!

  2. I enjoy video games, but currently own a laptop with a touchpad. SO If you know any good games that don't need no mouse to operate do tell. One of the recent ones I enjoyed was Lisa the Painful.

3.During this year I've come to realise that I want a career out of animation. I have to do something about that after I finish my other master :')

haha no you're not weird, I can do it too actually, but I got health issues because I was drinking too much coffee when I was a student so I'm careful now.

Hey there, if I'm to reveal at least three facts bout myself I would like to say that
1- I'm a 16 n half year old teen that had been drawing comics as far as I can remember
2- I'm an all rounder in sports so I'm pretty tall n buff
3- And finally I'm an animal lover which is basically one of the factors that made me start drawing

  1. Somewhere around a decade of comic making experience! Cheers to that!
  2. So you can draw fast AND run fast. Those are good skills to have.
  3. Animal Lovers are usually the best kind of people.

3 FACTS ABOUT ME, YOU BETTER LIKE THEM OR I'LL do nothing, actually. I won't force you.
Anyways...

Fact #1: One of my favorite video game series is Kingdom Hearts. There's so many other games I love but I'll go for KH for now smile

Fact #2: Related to the first fact, I absolutely love video games! My comic The Adventures of Bob!1 is pretty much about living inside video games so you can check that out if you want (if you don't mind the horrible stick-figure art and complete randomness XD)

Fact #3: I have an idea for a manga that I want to put on Tapastic but I'm just waiting until I get a drawing tablet and become more confident in my drawings smile
Fact#3.1: Yes, I can draw more than just stick-figures! Just not on computer, yet...

Your dinosaur sounds awesome!
1. I have never read The BFG. I hope the movie lives up to your experience.
2. I played The YAWHG1 and thought it was really cool. Its cheap on Steam right now.
3. So you no longer want to work in animation? It is a tough field.

You didn't get the pun of "Backdoor" right away? I admire your innocence. smile
1. That was exactly the same reasoning I had on my dino. Figured it was a chill vegetarian.
2. A 4-leaf clover?
3. Its okay. D&D doesn't grab everyone's attention.
4. I've had to help one friend put out a kitchen fire once. It makes for an exciting convo over some hastily bought fast food.

MAYBE I WON'T LIKE THEM. MAYBE I'LL LOVE THEM! THAT'S HOW I ROLL

  1. Every one of my friends love the heck out of KH. I only every played the Peter Pan level way back in the days of yore.
  2. Stick Figure Randomness. GOT IT!
  3. Get cracking on it! We await to devour your manga
3.1. Would you mind showing any of it? Take a picture or scan something?

So, reading everyone else's stuff, video games, RPGs (good taste), books, tea and bendy thumbs. Great mix of facts! ^^

  1. I find the lack of love for the t-rex here.... Disturbing... I know its common to like a t-rex but they deserve the love with all these other dinosaurs trying to steal its thunder (I'm looking at you Jurassic world) I love how dumb their stupid little arms look and I always liked to imagine them with feathers1
  2. I haven't broken any bone but I've dislocated a lot of fingers (boxing and extreme sports don't go well together xD)
  3. I grew up on the small island of Cyprus, got bored of it for being too small, moved to London, after 8 years here, I still love it but also hate it for being too big
  4. I CAN'T DRINK COFFEE ANYMORE AND IT KILLS ME (sorry for the caps, felt it was appropriate to convey my feelings)

Oh and if anyone is interested here's my comic

So far I've only drawn the main characters' faces (and clothes to some extent), so as soon as I get the chance I'll show you! Everything else about the manga is all in my head! Though that's pretty bad since I'll probably forget to add in the most important parts when the time comes...

I should share my three things too.

  1. I'm torn between the Pterodactyl or Tyrannosaurus for my favorite dinosaur.
  2. I like tea and coffee, though prefer the later.
  3. And I usually listen to movie scores or Hip Hop beats when drawing.

I don't have a comic up yet, but I'm drawing it between checking the forum here.

No I actually do! But I have to finish my art education studies first. After I do that I find some good school on animation and get a degree and career on it. At least that's the plan right now. I had a change to study animation little bit in exchange and I'm having a blast.

For my defense, English is not my first language, for me it was just a computer thing, you know when you find a way to enter in a program... but to be fair if I translate it literally in my language it does sound like a sexual reference...

2). Nope, only 3-leaf, but it's impressive enough believe me °^°

I'm a noob as well, I've been publishing my comic Wade since January.

Now my three things...

  1. I'm a big fan of Super Mario and I play loads of video games
  2. I've seen the LEGO Movie over 16 times from start to finish, because Everything is Awesome! I know, that's very childish, but I really like that movie, lol (I may never grow up mentally, but growing up is overrated).
  3. My comics tend to reflect a bit of myself, although they're not exactly the same as me they do reflect some of my personality and experiences. Like I also love Cake. But Wade would eat any cake and I like primarily Chocolate Cake.

I love Kingdom Hearts! The first one is always a fallback game for me when I want to play something but am not sure what!

And stick with those stick figures! My comic 5 x 3 has basically been me refining my stick figures for the last three years. I wish I could have uploaded some back issues, but the file size was not compatible with tapastic and I didn't feel like futzing with them.

Looking forward to checking our your work!

Hey everyone! I'm Ross, I've been a webcomic creator for about 3 years now, publishing on a variety of platforms until arriving here. My comic is 5 x 31 is a daily joke strip, but I also am working on some 4-page minis with an urban fantasy theme.

Three facts about me?

  1. I majored in music composition in college. It took until my 4th year to realize how much I didn't enjoy it. Then I figured, well if I'm gonna be making art and not making any money, I should at least enjoy what I'm doing. Finished my degree, but my composition professor was gracious enough to let me spend my last year working on writing. During that year I wrote a 200+ page graphic novel that eventually I'll feel confident enough to start drawing.

  2. My favorite Pokemon is Wailord. I have a weakness for giant pokemon with dumb faces.

  3. My favorite snack is roasted, salted peanuts. But I don't especially like them unshelled. I feel that opening them myself enhances the flavor.

Hey, I've been publishing here for about a year now on my comic Ears and Whiskers1.
Its another slice of life about my two roomates, a good friend, and our two cats. If you have any questions about how the site works or any good comics to read, I practicly live on this site.

anywho:

  1. Dispite my username and pic, I really do not have a favorite animal. I prefer cats just because I've always had a pet cat. I've never NOT had a cat.

  2. I am graduating college come may, despite looking 14 years old.

  3. I am a total dork and get sucked into fandoms way too hard core for my schedule to handle.

Heyyy! I'm Vanessa, I create the comic Radio Silence2, which is about a coming of age story about a British rock band's rise to fame.

I agree that the ankylosaurus is pretty awesome! My fave was the compsognathus because of a CD-ROM I had as a kid that was basically a rudimentary wikipedia of dinos. This woman's voice would narrate if you clicked on certain prompts, and I would amuse myself clicking that name over and over because of the way she pronounced it. Thus, favourite dino was decided. A much less logical explanation that yours haha

Facts about me!

  1. As is tradition as a Canadian, I played hockey my whole childhood, since I was 4 til I graduated high school. It sort of put me in a position of both being a jock and an art nerd, while fitting into neither social group. Pretty isolating stuff.
  2. I have a fluffy black double maned lion-lop bunny named Nosferatu!
  3. My favourite food is the potato. I can eat it forever :Q

Yeah, I'm liking the mix of info! It paints a very cool picture of each person so far.
1. Hey, I like me a T-Rex, don't get me wrong, but I meant as a pet. And T-Rex... are unpredictable. But they are the King for a reason.
2. Boxing?! That's awesome! I've always wanted to take it up. But I watched all the Rocky's AND Creed so I'm like an expert now, right?
3. I visited England once back in 2006. It was awesome! It was really crazy for me to walk down a street and see an umbrella store that has been around longer than America. Europe... you're where all the history happened.
4. Stay strong. STAY STRONG.

Yes, you should Mr. E. Nigma
1. I understand: Flight or Fight?
2. Why limit yourself to one?
3. Same for when I'm writing. The less lyrics, the less distracting for me. I'm a big fan of 80's nostalgic beats. Check out Carpenter Brut if you haven't already.
