I just got a cinematic made by the amazing Aeon Zohar! Have a look and let me know what you think!

I'd love to see what others are doing as well. Share your strategies so we can learn from each other!

Thanks mate!

I didn't pay through my nose for the video -- it was reasonable. And I really loved the outcome!

That's a damn nice video fren! Love the music as well!

Looks nice! (though I would edit out the one black frame between shots about halfway through.)

As for myself, despite being an animator, I haven't made any sort of animate promo material for Trespasser.
Kinda takes more effort to make than the results it would bring in. Besides, I feel like if I were to make specific animations for Trespasser, purely for promotional purposes, it would take away from the comic.

That said, I have in the past made small videos, usually process videos.
I do have this one Blip animation that I made before I applied for a motion design position, to re-familiarize myself with After Effects. It's pretty simple and didn't take me long to make, but it's kinda cute in a way

(EDIT: okay so the forums did not like my link to the instagram version, so I had to upload it to youtube to actually show it.)

An animatic sounds like an awesome way to market series! my methods are lousy tbh. Xd

I market my story with artwork on IG and segments/excerpts on Tumblr. I've honestly gotten the quickest engagement on tumblr, but IDK how many people actually turn to my comics after that. That said I have made some speed paints for my story ocs

This is really amazing and I think I've seen this before since I follow you. Tumblr is a shock to me though... didn't know it was that active. I have to check it out now. Thanks for the info!

It's pretty cool. I got a bunch of quotes from my novel. Wonder if I should start a thread on that Lol
