So, I've been debating whether to stick to writing novels or start making my own comics and I need advice, like, if you've made the transition from one medium to the other, how did it go for you?
For me, I've started drawing first and wrote stories later (though I did think of stories way before I decided to write them). I've tried my hand at drawing manga first, but felt like I wasn't good enough and I'm kind of slow when I draw, so it'd take forever for me to complete a chapter, so eventually I stopped and started writing my stories instead. While I do love writing, I feel like I might enjoy even more writing and illustrating my stories, but like... you know how it is. I always feel like I'm not "good enough" to publish comics yet.
And since I've already started writing a story here and have subscribers, I don't feel like giving up on that story (besides, I do enjoy writing that story), but maybe I could have a side project and try my hand at publishing a comic, just to see which medium I like better?
I don't know, if you've done both (or even just one or the other), what's your experience been like?
