I am also confused because my post wasn’t even about her.

I mostly wanted to mention Gakuen Handsome because it’s a BL parody anime. I think if that is what OP wants to create, it’s worth checking out.

I remember watching Loveless in high school anime club. It was one of the member's favorite shows and it was just... 12 year old with a 25 year old?! Why?!

Yeah, I often see people recommend it and not mention that the little boy is 12 and the series focuses WAY too much on virginity.

Yaoi anime from the 80's/90's as well

Oh oh oh oh..... There was another one I wanted to add but the name escaped me. All I remember was that I saw a trailer for it on a DVD and my dad walked in and was like "WHAT IS THIS????"

It was called Fake, it's an OVA from the 90s. Like a lot of OVAs from the 90s, there might be explicit scenes in it. A lot of these types of animes were not shown on TV and were mostly sold through the VHS/DVD market. It got an American release with a dub because these types of anime were dirt cheap to distribute.

probably a case of people watching it years ago, when they were closer in age to that 12 year old than the adult guy, not really being aware of the problems with it back then, remembering that they enjoyed it as a teen and not really giving it any deeper thought when recommending... maybe

I forgive Darthmongoose already, I have zero ill will. I don't want this to turn into other people adding drama to this. Like stated before, I posted that early in the morning so my mind was a little cloudy.
