I need help for my novel

Hey, I had an idea for a tale that I could write in my spare time, while I don't have time to draw my webtoon, but I don't know if I would be cool, more couples

Because when I came up with the idea of ​​the story I thought of just one girl who, whenever the boys asked to date, she made extreme requests to prove her love for her

and a boy who is nicknamed "masochist" because he always gets into a fight that knows he won't win and most of the time a girl was in the middle

but the reason why he always enters the fights he never said

so what do you think of more couples as a effeminate boy who ends up falling in love with the class representative who had already said he would never relate to anyone

and also an extremely shy, antisocial guy who fell in love with his childhood friend that after entering high school he didn't talk to him much

if you were to read would you like the story to focus on just one couple or with separate focus between more couples

Well, it could work given that each relationship is properly built-up and given enough time to develop.
Be sure each story arc is unique and not too similar to the others, or else audiences may get confused.

It reminds me of those ensemble cast films like Valentine's Day (2011), even though I've never watched any myself.

I suppose I wouldn't mind reading something like this personally if everything came together in the end, like people within each pairing knew or were somehow connected with another person from another pairing.

This kind of plot reminds me of an old Japanese live-action show called Love Shuffle. It focuses on a ton of different relationships within the context of eight different adults who agree to do a dating lottery, so to speak. The show goes over every possible romantic combonation in the context of why it would or wouldn't work for them, and then by the end of the show everyone pairs off! Some were surprising couples, but each felt organic.

To reiterate what @joannekwan said, this idea can work so long as you're willing to spend time building the relationships. Gotta be a slow burn, baby. I recommend making a relationship chart where you can write a few lines about each couple's chemistry, that way you can reference it as you work out scenes.

if you can find a means of meaningfully connecting the 2 couples then go for it otherwise separate them. but yea sounds interesting

I can say from personal experience that readers are alright with having more than one couple as long as they are all interesting. I only had like one reader ever complain about there being more than one in my novel and funnily enough the 'couple' they refered to wasn't even an intended one.
The thing I found most difficult was to make sure that all the couples get enough screen time over the whole course of the novel. I do have an overarching plot though that led to some constraints on when I could show more of which characters. Maybe that'll be easier if you only focus on the romance.
Anyway, I think it can work out really well.

The other folks who commented before me seem to be right about having mutliple couples in a romance story. For me the issue is the composition of each of these pairings. None of them strike me as healthy relationships.

The first pairing with the prove-your-love and the masochist is particularly troublesome.

The second couple be okay. There is nothing wrong with having an effeminate boyas a character. I don't know anything about his love interest though. Is class representative a stock character that I am supposed to know?

The third pairing is back in the creepy category. Am I to understand one character is pursuing a severe brain injury patient to start a romance with him or her? I get that amnesia is a romance trope, and maybe I am reading this incorrectly. The loss of speech skills suggests that there is a lot more going on than just a soap opera case of forgotten memories.

Oh well, romance stories are rarely based in healthy relationships, even in the literary classics. At least these characters all have room to grow.

I had not thought of this side anymore I would not try something scary because it would be a romantic comedy and so it has this "weird" side of them

I'm going to change in the third really seems strange I think I ended up exaggerating and going out of style of the story
