Hello!

So I came from smackjeeves, and I started using tapas as a mirror site with my main elsewhere.

Anyway, when I first popped on here, I didn't really understand the whole "episode" structure since I like having my comic in graphic novel chapters.
So at first I just kinda, threw as many pages as I could fit into an episode and then proceeded to '"part 2" "part 3" ect.'

Eventually I got a better rhythm of doing it scene by scene, to make each episode more digestible.
But the problem is that half my comic is now unorganized with huge chunks

I don't have many subs and I don't think many of my readers use this mirror. But I would like to improve the reading experience here.

Just now, I tried editing my episodes, but it seems kinda messy trying to reposition each new episode, and I don't see an option to put my comic under private while I'm doing it. It just seems like starting over would be much easier.

question:
Would it be worth reuploading from the beginning, with the scene by scene structure or should I just leave it as it is? A different suggestion?
Do you have any insight on episode format in general?

Yeah I think you should reupload. It'll make your viewcount drop a lot but if you think the pacing is very bad it might be necessary. Plus, reuploading in smaller chunks means more episodes in total!

in my opinion, if the webcomic episode format is not your series' original, it is not worth it changing it. I think the original medium to which a work is conceived is the one that optimizes its strengths. That said, I think it is well worth it to maybe start a new series with the episode pacing in mind. If tapas/webtoons are just an afterthought, then maybe just use it to direct readers to your main page.
