I have a major heatwave in my country right now, and am looking for new stuff to read! And because we all could need some positivity, I want to do so by leaving a sweet little comment on your work.

I hope I can make someone's day! :green_heart:

EDIT: Keep them coming guys! I'll be going through this thread like a snail and hopefully get to everyone eventually. Somehow, haha!

EDIT EDIT: Don't worry about my work here, I'm not looking for a "I scratch your back, you scratch mine" kind of thing. This thread is just for me to come back and sift through it so I can have something to do occasionally, haha.

EDIT EDIT EDIT: Alright guys, wow! So many! I've decided instead of constantly leaving the comments in this thread, I will just go over to your novel/comic and leave it there. That will be a bit easier for me to decide the pace and let's me take my time with people's work. Feel free to leave your links though, this is an easier way for me to find new works rather than sift through the categories haha.

A nice comment is always nice  Have at it!

I'm with you on that buddy, over here it's also hot right now :,D

You can read my comic, hope you like it

Oh this is so nice of you to do!! :heart_03: And oh boy, it's getting hot here too but probably not as bad as a heatwave. Hope you're well-hydrated!

I would love any comments on my novels!

A heatwave? That sounds terrible! I guess here’s my comic.

I’m going to take a short break to make at least 5 pages and release them in bulk. Could you pm me any of your work if you have a comic or novel?

I hope it cools down for you in your country. Make sure to always have a fan or AC.

I know my writing isn't the best but I consider myself a decent writer. (I want to improve on descriptions)

Title: Jervis T Booker

Genre: Action, Fantasy, Drama

Summary: Jervis T Booker is one of the heroes who defeated the Orc king, and he is looking for his lost daughter, he must find Nash, the man that is taking care of his daughter, along the journey Jervis will make many friends and enemies.

Uhhh.... yeah, sure, here's some stuff to read.
I've got three different series, I'll let you pick:

Rants and Rambles

R&R is my main series, and updates the most regularly. It's a weekly comic just centered on comedy.

Dark Hope

DH is a D&D inspired novel, it's pretty long and much more serious than R&R.

Aromantic Stuff

AroStuff is my shortest series, it's a series of essays on Aromanticism and the Aromantic spectrum. It's definitely the most informative of my series.

Not going to drop my link, because if you're looking for positivity my story is NOT where you want to go. It's the opposite of positive.

Instead, here's a story that has a lot of warm fuzziness (post prologue) that I really enjoy and could use some love and attention

I don't think the author is on the forums though...

Oh my GOSH. Oh my gosh, now THAT'S how you open a story! Wow dear your writing is absolutely amazing, and I'm not even kidding! I just love how you immediately give us the action and catch the readers attention and manage to hold it too!

English is not my native language (even though I'm writing a whole novel in it, haha!) but I can follow your writing style perfectly. I hope you know how much that is appreciated! You keep up the good work dear!

Lunar, I actually started on your comic I think about two days ago and I just ADORE your characters omg! I just loved the guy with the dark blue hair, I wanted to know more about him instantly haha! And that prologue of yours, hoo boy. If I had a weave it'd be in space right now, beautiful my dear! I can see the hard work you put into this, I hope to see more!

Here's mine if the premise sounds interesting and remeber to drink lots of water ;v

Awww, that's such a nice thought :3

Here is mine:
I hope you like comedy and fantasy

Will do, thank you!

I picked Shackles and WOW! Your writing style, your slow build of the tension of sweet lord your descriptions...!!! All my weaknesses in one haha! I just loved how you began your opening, and I can already feel the complexity of the politics going on there! I will dive in deeper at a later point, I'm still so amazed at your writing skill wow. You do good work there, keep it up!

i feel that heatwave business, it's 32 degrees here today and im in britain, that's not fair

Here's my story. It's like the opposite of positive but hey, it's got cold weather vibes and that's ideal for a heatwave

i'm dropping this as my commitment to myself to start jade kingdoms today as well, seeing as i've been mincing on it for like a month

Oof, its no fun that's for sure!

Oh wow! I already loved your summary of your comic, and I wish you were more confident because I already loved what I read thus far! The story is very captivating, and I love each of your panels. I think you do wonderful work there, and I am curious to see how the story will go on! You are doing wonderfully, I promise!

I have a novel (and a mini-comic series based on it) feel free to give it a go whenever you like, no pressure. :green_heart:

I think our heatwave is finally coming to an end. Hope yours does too.
There's not much there so far, but I love more comments!

Thank you, I hope so too! My health truly doesn't like this weather...

I just read the first three chapters, and I love how you write action scenes! I love first-persons POVs a lot too, they give me lots of insight in the minds of the characters. You're definitely a wonderful writer, and I just know as you descriptions improve you're gonna have one heck of a gem in your hands. I hope to see more of your novel in the future, you're gonna be awesome!
