Hi, I'm DanzoKei.
I have been thinking about my first original comic called 'Foster', which I had posted on Tapas back in December 2016-January 2017 (I forgot when I first posted, but I'm pretty sure it's around this time). I was only able to do one chapter, because I got way into a fandom at that time and focused on making fancomics for it. Also, my mental health & job took quite a toll on me during that time and caused me to not able to draw for a year.
After working on CEO-san & Hisho-kun, I have been wondering if I should try working on 'Foster' on the side. It's already been in the back of my head that I'll revive it back once I start drawing again, however there're some things I'm concerned about.
- Since CEO-san & Hisho-kun is an ongoing series and still in the beginning, is it okay if I work on another project on the side? I'm worried it might hinder with the updates.
- I'm thinking of revamping Foster 1st chapter. Since originally I planned to make it 4-komas, like Komi-san manga, I wonder if it's better to keep it that way or just revamp it to more Webtoon style?
I would like to hear your opinions about this, just to shed a light on my confused-wishy-washy-self. Thank you for reading
Here are the old cover and a few old pages of the series.
Short Summary of the series: Larry Cruise Foster is a retired military soldier who decide to adopt a kid, Larry, into his life. This is a story of two people and how they build their bond as a family.
This was an attempt to draw them back in 2018. I decided to put 'Foster' on Webtoon CANVAS back in mid-2018, hoping this might 'force' myself to actually work on something but ended up abandoning it for a year before deleting the series from website. I know, it's pathetic
