And while it's not a new country for me, I would also really love to return to China, I really miss it and want to go back to the city where I lived and visit a few others

China -- I want to see ancient sites and the mountains. Maybe get to visit my favorite Chinese YouTuber.

S Korea -- Learn a bit more of the culture and check it out with my daughter, who wants to be an English teacher there.

Norway -- Family on my father's side, visit historical landmarks of my ancestors.

• London, UK - already been there, but would love to see it again.
• USA on the road - not sure if it counts, though, since that alone would be... huh... a little more than just three places alternatively, I'll take New York.
• Sweden - love the language, would love to visit it.

The Caribbean (I love the beach, and it looks beautiful there!)
Russia (Before the Russian revolution my family were wine merchants to the Tzar, so I think it would be

I love tourism photos of the countryside. I think it's probably like anywhere. People in rural areas still cook and live in traditional ways that are more flavorful and laid back compared to cities.

1) Japan. Been there before, would love to visit there again. Ive brushed up on my Japanese, so hopefully I wont make an embarassing mistake again xD

I was with my family on a tour. My tour guide passed me a gantry ticket, and showed me how to use it. I then had the misconception that all the gantrys only accept tickets. So the next time I had to pass a gantry, i got on in a queue, and when it was my turn, i slapped the ticket onto the gantry, and the gantry did not open. I knew i did something wrong. Those queueing behind me then turned their heads to face me with a perplexed countenance. Yikes. I then spoke to the guard there, and asked with my limited japanese "how to get out?" . The guard replied "to where?". I couldnt carry the convo any further, luckily my tour guide stepped in and helped me out. Also a turns out after inserting my ticket in, i had to retrieve it once I pass the gantry. Luckily a good man behind me got passed me my ticket (that gesture, with hindsight i understood that i needed to retrieve my ticket)

I'd love to go back to Japan, to Hokkaido in the autumn and winter. I never got that far north, and I'd love to spend a week just bathing in snowy onsen with snow monkeys.

I really want to visit Hallstatt in Austria, mostly because a mountain-bound town next to a lake is the primary setting of my next project. Actually visiting a place like that would make it feel so much more real!

And finally, I'd love to visit the Alps. Again, for the snow, the mountains, and also the alpine pine forests.

I'm a secluded area type of person. If I need to pick three, then I would love to visit the following:
- some distant, eastern Siberia.
- Kalahari Desert. It's like Sahara but less scary and more chilled.
- very distant, southern regions of Atlantic Ocean, such as Tierra del Fuego or maybe Tristan da Cunha (the most remote archipelago in the world).

Not that there are some amazing things to see there, but the idea of utter desolation makes me uncontrollably wet.
