If you could turn your character into a game, what kind of game would it be?

Aetherwar began as a board game creation. So a turn based 4 v1 game would be cool.

But on second thoughts a Final Fantasy (7 through to 9) clone would be more awesome!

As for the D&D part, it's funny you should say that. The concept, world, etc. are based on a tabletop role playing game that I designed. I guess the story's themes are rather indicative of its origin.

Definitely, RPG for both my comics With multiple endings depending on your decisions and relationship with other characters. Maybe turned-based but also action-based would work out. And with a vast world to explore and catchy soundtrack hehehe

If The Trivial Tales of Luna Lesser was a game, it'd probably be a point and click adventure game. One of the Sam and Max style ones, where you have to play on the moral ambiguity of the lead character. Either that, or a platformer, but with a Psychonauts level of character interaction. I'm also not ruling out an RPG. Or kart racer. Too many options, really.

My book The Soul Collectors takes place in an alternative world of the Others. This would certainly be a dark RPG.
The main characters would make pretty cool main PCs.

I imagine a PS2/PS3 graphic 3D 3rd-person free-roaming sandbox game when the younger Maor can run around the village and do errands, or pick up herbs to sell, have a nap, buy some snacks, play minigames with kids, do house chores, do more errands... Like Open World RPG but without the main quest.

A puzzle point-and-click adventure game with a wonkily cute soundtrack like Machinarium would be a nice spin-off or side story to Bomeo the Service Cat.
Bomeo can shapeshift into certain forms & interact with environmental cues to disguise itself & solve puzzles.

Bonus: Bomeo will giggle in 10 different ways depending on how you pet it with your mouse & spout random things when you least expect it. Like this

Probably all the games that inspired me smooshed into one. Uncharted meets shadow of the colossus, meets dragon age/Skyrim.

I’d definitely have people learning to fly, tomb raiding, fighting zombies and collecting God Stones to upgrade abilities.

Also random dumb achievements and party banter/burns.

If Dreamcatcher were a game, it would be a cutesy but dark little rpg, but kind of a mashup of Omori, Heartbound, Danganronpa, Touhou, and Undertale. Undertale and Touhou were actually some of my biggest inspirations for creating it!

I would love a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-style beat ‘me up but with more character interactions and 2-player combos. Like Artemis being able to shield Penny between Penny’s punches or Taylor being able to duck mid-fight so Vashti can tackle/attack his opponent. I don’t know of too many games that have a fighting system that are built around that level of cooperation, but I’d love to see that happen in an old school beat ‘me up with a variety of fun animations.
