Would it be a adventure, rpg, racing, or even a fighting game?
How would people play it? On there phone, console, or maybe in VR?

I'd personally turn a character into a VR game. Though not for the rift or HTC Vive, but for the GearVR. Why? It's much cheaper than either the Oculus Rift or the Vive.
Because I'd put it on the GearVR it would be a action/adventure first person game. I'd make a character pretty realistic in the since of FF.

Either a side scrolling beat em' up or a fighting game. I certainly have an interesting and varied character roster for a fighter, but it would also be fun to take my main characters in co-op and battle all of the various superheroes in my universe.

Probably an open world game, with a choice system that has actual affects on the end of the game, like you can kill off both playable characters and NPCS for good and it could radically change the ending. And of course there would be different endings, I feel it's appropriate that in the bad ending you die, it's the worst thing that can happen right?
Or a Tall Tales game, Like the Tall Tales Borderlands game! 😍
Either way, the game would be on console, (PS4 because that's what I have and heck ya I would wanna play my own game!)

For The J-Man, it would probably be an open world beat-em up type deal. Kinda like Arkham City or the upcoming Spider-Man PS4 (the hype is real!). I do want it to keep it's cartoony style, though. Not super realistic.

As for The Valve, I kinda would like a Telltale style point-n-click game, or something like Grim Fandago. Don't know why, just the setting feels like it would work for that kind of game.

BioHazard would be a total Mortal Kombat/Soul Caliber/Dead or Alive/Marvel vs. Capcom type of game. I think that would be so much fun with all my superpowered characters fighting each other!

Your Heart is My Coffins would be one of those dating simulator games.

I would probably want a top down 2D adventure game. Not sure what genre...maybe in the style of those Sierra games where you go around collecting things and talking to people and not really beating up hoards of enemies or anything.

I was thinking about making a game in Ren'Py but my idea involves adding a top down 2D section and I don't know how to make that within their program.

Look, I have an entire text doc full of notes on a hypothetical Runewriters dating game, I'm rEADY FOR THIS,

...but, er, if it was meant to keep the feel of the actual comic, it'd probably be some kinda RPG or choice-path-story-game/point&click type deal. It would be neat if you could switch between party members Maniac Mansion-style and have to accomplish different things as different people. Plus, since a lot of the characters are, uh, combat impaired at the beginning of the story, I'm not sure if the sort of system that's built on random combat encounters would be the best fit?

For SPIRE I'd have to go with an RPG like kingdom hearts' setup/gameplay style. It's one of my favorites out of all the games I've played.

new on the forums,

well, from one comic, due the plot, and the desing, would be something like a 3rd person beat em up/shooter , also would be an interesting figthing game, but the character rooster is still too little

Hard to tell for Shades Of Men...
It would probably an original concept like This War of Mine. (But a little less depressing)

I see it as a 2d survival game in Paris where you need the scavenge supplies to live another night.
But also prepare for various missions, including saving your friends.

With each friend saved you would acquire new items to make your life easier.
There would be a main story line with possible alternate ending, depending on the missions you choose.

I'd love to play that! (**Goes back to play This War of Mine***)

For Oni x Fox, I always imagined the characters fitting into a fighting game along the lines of Street Fighter. On the other hand, it could make for a cool Dynasty Warriors-esque beat em' up game!

My character would have to walk around with a power level, fighting people, and her goal is to get to college before her class starts. She gets power ups from coffee cups she finds around the cities, and get's her health back from finding places to take naps.

I think I have a great idea on my hands.

I'm shouting at my screen right now, "Side scrolling beat 'em up!!!" There are not enough of those, dude, and if you could get an arcade version... could you imagine designing an arcade cabinet for Don't Be a Hero?!! It would be utterly MAD.

Now, I'm afraid There's No Such Thing as Jason -- I.T. would be a lot slower than most of you guys' titles, heh. It would probably be a visual novel/point-and-click game. Something where you gather clues and evidence and weigh it against the characters. WITH LOTS of fun side-quests on hacking into systems and breaking into rooms, oh dang. Don't get caught, don't be alone with one of the characters too long. Instead of wondering who could kill who, maybe more like, "who will kill you?"

If Grassblades1 was ever to become a game, it'd probably be some variant of RPG. Not sure if I'd want a fully 3D, grand-sweeping-cinematic-vistas thing like, say, Xenoblade Chronicles, or if I'd want something more top-down and pixel-based graphics-y - or if I'd want something in between.

.... Okay, let's be honest, I'd want something that looks like a polished version of Final Fantasy 9. Lovely pre-rendered settings, lots of nooks and crannies to explore, NPCs to grump at, beautiful music, etc.

That, or something similar to Okami, with a bit more of a platforming element.

If Wishlight was ever a game, it'd be more of a point-and-click adventure, which is a genre I dearly love.

If my comic Lalita at the end of the universe was ever a game it would probably be a rpg or puzzle game or a mixture of both. I can see it being very KH esque but with TONS of puzzles

If storytale was a game it would be a sidescroller fantasy game. It would be alot like ori and the blind forest

tim raider: underwear
you play as a ghost in a silver dress who haunts girls underwear drawers and steals their underwear and then wears it
it would probably be phone game
someone needs to make this game happen o.o

Silent, artistic, meditating and puzzle kinda game for Enkido with colorful visuals and soothing music, really can't see it any other way.. all thanks to Journey for making this dreamable smile

Well, my characters already HAVE games considering they're game companies...
Consolers, the comic, would be a parody of the industry and video games in general (maybe a mix of different genres?), with a more stylized/cartoony style (either "32-bit" style pixel art, 2D drawn sprites or cellshaded 3D), playable on all the consoles and PC.
Maybe like Neptunia with less fanservice

I'd go old school side scroll Beat em' up, TMNT and/or X-Men arcade style. As for consoles, I'd say a classic home release and PC. Also, it has to have Konami inspired music because they know how to compose excellent tracks.

Probably some indie art stuff but an actual game with gameplay. Like all those abstract rpg maker games.
