yeah! movies tend to mess stuff up but if i had a super high budget then...maybe just maybe they could manage to get thigns right

though that makes me lean more towards having it be made into a high production game with good animation and voice acting!

Nah, I have long thought that if I did win a cash prize, I would just give it away to a charity. I am not well off, but I am getting by. When I start carving out pieces of the prize to pay for just this or just that, I might end up giving none away, and then I miss an opportunity to accomplish something worthwhile. It's better to keep none and just gift it all.

I dunno about my current series if I want it to be an animated cartoon show, but maybe for another project I'm working on, sure XD

My animator friend was joking about how "hey if your series ever gets picked up to be animated at the studio, give me the fun scenes" lol

Not just you my friend, though I'd have different reasons.

I wouldn't spend the majority of my winnings on something as high risk as the movie/TV industry. I know they say invest in yourself but I think it'd be more prudent to use the money to maintain/improve my working conditions...

...AND if a movie/TV happens because of the work I do at this level, it means more and is at substantially less risk than spending all my lottery money on it.

If I won the lottery, I would eventually make a movie out of my web comic. I view it as an artistic challenge. First, I would reorganize my plans for my web comic and find out when to start making the movie. I would use the money to work harder on improving my art skills and gaining a bigger audience, before making the movie.

In my opinion this has already happened a striking example of this is iron man, a man who spends his wealth on technology and the development of science and technology. I think this is the best way to invest and if I would won the lottery a huge amount for example with the help of lottery data analysis then I would have done about the same would have become a Modern Iron man or at least take the example of Elon Musk. I think he's the real embodiment of Tony stark in our real world:)

Absolutely not.
There are far better comics out there, like Apricot Cookie(s), that would be more deserving than my comic.
I can barely get people to read my comic let alone getting them to sit down and pay attention to an animated show.

I’m in the middle of it right now!! There have been a few meetings for the one comic I did and I took another meeting with another animation studio who wanted to help me develop one of my other comics as a pitch. I think something is gonna end up working out but I can’t talk super publicly about it all

Cartoon yes, movie no. A movie would just try to cram and cut a lot of plot to fit in 3 hours and would do it no justice.

@carloswebcomic Don't put yourself down like that, if you're not doing anything illegal or offensive everyone deserves some attention. The creator being their worst critic aside, keep in mind horrible, horrible shows/cartoons get greenlit and sometimes extra seasons while really good ones get cancelled to make for space. If someone's undercooked idea can get in and make someone happy, your decent to great one can too.

If I had a good million I would take around 100 of my best idea's make comics out of them. Then I would take the most liked one and turn them into TV shows. Four or Ten years later I would ask my fans if they would like a movie.

I'd rather buy some stocks and find other sources of income rather than try to win the lottery. Lotteries are a waste of money, if spent on the wrong scratch cards.

Besides the point, I would make an animated web series based on my works if I had lots of money; tradigital animation and everything! But, I would have to partner with a company, such as SHOUT! Factory. In fact, I thought that creating my comics would be a good idea before making the series itself! It helps to interact with your audience.
