If you had won the lottery and you to turn one of your comics or novels into a cartoon or movie, would you?

hmmm... adapting twaw into a movie would be a great opportunity to like remake it into smth tighter with all / some of the kinks worked out, and i love film and animation, so... maybe.

i have some pieces of writing that i can picture very clearly as short films though, so i think id go for them first.

Perhaps after I repair my standard of living first, and invest portion of it so my ass can be lazy with no worries This priority comes first, along with consideration of continuing my study.

If the money is still enough after those, I will try to team with a studio to make animated series. Considering how shitty the source material is, I don't think it will sell.

My biggest dream is not making my series into tv show or movie, it's rather becoming rich and have no worry. Because well, if you have the money it would be easier to you to get your series brought to screen (and that's also the reason there are so many crappy shows/movie)

CARTOOON!!!! EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY WORKS!!! A movie would need to take more planning, and a HUGE ADVENTURE that would risk almost burning me out.

And none of that Cartoon Network/Nickelodeon new-age animation, nononoononononononononono. We're going OOOOOLLLLLDDD-SCHOOOL. We're going to emulate the speed, timing, and crisp, painstaking beauty of classic hand-drawn animation in digital (HIRE A TV VERSION OF the late-90s Hanna-Barbera Revival Crew, or DISNEY'S 9 OLD MEN or John Musker if I have to!) With every single frame having the kind of smooth, stretchy feeling you'd get from a theatrical short. Uniquely colorful backgrounds, character personalities, and animation that feels like the good ol' days, only better!

Anything else I can throw my input in: games, creative merch, expanded library of works to give them more attention, i'll do it!

I'd choose to make movies. Some of my planned novels can be split into their own trilogies or duologies and such. As long as they all have a connection, we'd have another cinematic universe in Hollywood.

Of course, I'd be pretty picky when it comes to directors. There are several directors I'd be fine leaving my work with.

Yes, that's a yes. Though it kind of depends. There's really only two projects of mine I'd like to adapt to animation, and both in different ways. One would be a lot of fun as a serialized, I'm thinking maybe three-season/two-season (depending on how many episodes in a season) serialized series of plot focused episodes interspaced with the occasional gag filler, as I like funny stuff.
The other I would love to do a start-finish, shorter, Over the Garden Wall style series, maybe 10 episodes if 21 minutes each, or like 15 11 minute ones, that tells the story start to finish. Get some fancy actors, preferably singers cause that would have a lot music. Probably singing in both of these, but more in the latter, maybe a broadway singer as one of the main characters to capitalize on that.
Needless to say I've thought about this a lot, but it probably won't happen. Though, I do say that, it may. Hilda was a graphic novel adaptation, so one day, maybe something will come of that! Just gotta keep up the work.

I'm actually planning to save for that in the next five years and release it hopefully on youtube. It's always been an ambition of mine and I don't have much patience to sit around and wait for someone to decide that for me.

Not yet since I'm not ready. Depending on how much I'd won, I'd hired a better artist to draw my comic first and then make a cartoon. If the comic gets popular, I could probably get adult swim or something to give me a cartoon. Or better yet, an anime studio (TMS)
