it's awfully unoriginal. i've seen way too many comic makers make jokes about how they procrastinate.
and they're usually done better than this. also what's this about saying yours are the 'best comics ever'?
even jokingly, that's not a very good attitude to have. the only people who claim theirs is the 'best comic ever' aren't usually very good.

@letitridecomics it seems like you're going for shock humor. let me just say hardly anyone is shocked by stuff like this is stuff anymore. 'talking heads saying outrageous stuff' is no longer in. i would advise a more subtle approach, moving away from cardboard cut-out stereotypes.

@zelkats I don't understand, where is the attempt at humor here? I don't see it. it looks like a well executed action scene, but i found nothing to laugh at.

Ahh, so the link brought you to the latest episode. Yeah... It's not my proudest and it's slightly out of context compared to the first two episodes. And I suppose it doesn't help that it has a pop culture reference to it.

@CPY first off, I would advise checking your spelling/grammar, there are a few mistakes.
i had a hard time understanding what was 'perfunctory' about the comic, i think i got it, but it's still a rather convoluted message. the comic might have benefitted from removing the tagline 'perfunctoriness is the new sarcasm' because it's funny enough on its own.
the character keeps doing this 'angry manga face' all the time and it detracts from the joke, she should have more than one facial expression throughout.
but overall it's not bad.

@cryoclaire I was able to understand it just fine. I think everyone should strive to make single pages that are at least somewhat enjoyable without context, and this one definitely fits the bill.
I like it. you have your own voice, the characters are relatable, the punchline is good. nothing I could really say to bash it without lying to myself.

@L4213 it's all right. can't say it's terribly original. also, 'it wasn't for loss' isn't a correct expression, you're probably thinking 'it wasn't for naught'.
it flows relatively well, but it's also very much on the safe side.
