If your MC were a MONSTER, what would they be? A promo thread~

Okay, cringe intro aside, I think the thread's title is pretty straightforward, no?
What would your MCs be if they were a monster? And hey, promote your novel, too, while we're at it!

I'll start!~
My main character, Justin, would probably be a slime monster! Always trying their hardest, but somehow, they're still the first mobs to die! TT O TT He would do his best to change who he is and create various versions of himself to compensate for his lack of inherent talent, all to please his master awweee!~ (there's BDSM in my story, so "master" kinda fits, no? HAHAHAHA!) But at the end of the day, just like any other slimes before him, Justin, too, will perish just as easily as he appearedhuhuhuhuhu!

What if they're a monster in human skin all along. Beneath our skins we put to conform, we are all wretched beings of incomprehensible ugliness Given the fantasy nature of my series, some of them are already monsters, may it be beastly beings or just some horrible person.

Talking about my main character, he would be a Frankenstein's monster. Reason being are spoiler in details, but at the surface level they are both (allegedly) reanimated dead people with some issues.

My MC IS a monster

The monsters in my novel don't have a direct equivalent and the logistics behind Luric's transformation haven't been revealed to the reader yet - and won't be for some time - but the closest widely-known creature to compare him to is a werewolf. In fact, the likeness to a werewolf is kinda deliberate.

If only I was writing a story in a genre where people becoming monsters reflective of some inner flaw was a thing and such featured prominently in my own story

To find a MC who is not already a cast member of The Munsters, I'd need to cycle back to my first Tapas story. Candide is a young and talented firefighter who gets abducted by aliens. Candide could be a fine unicorn: rare, wild, beautiful, majestic, wild, strong, and probably a virgin.

ngl I can't believe I didn't put into account that there's A LOT of wonderful stories like yours with already monster MCs! HAHAHAHA! it would be rather foolish now to ask what your MC will look like as a human too hahahaha! On that note, i am VERY excited to reading your story! it seems right about my alley hahahahaha! (just add some LGBTQ+ elements in there, and i would literally devour your novel hahahaha!) i am also excited to see your monster! <3 i bet they're AMAZING!

I actually did an illustration based on a concept like this a few halloween's ago, which was this:

Each one was based on personality or existing character traits. But from left to right

• Haku, the tv head, would likely be a vampire. Mainly inspired by the concept of some vampires being able to mentally influence people with some form of hypnotism

• Rye, the toaster head, a clown because he's often played the wild card and a bit of a prankster

• Kiren, a werewolf, which was on the nose given what he is in cannon

• Vi (or myself rather) a ghost since i'm often prone to extended hiatus or "going ghost"

• Socket wound up a jack-o-lantern, though if I ever rehashed this she'd likely be the Pumpkin King as she plays a leader role in cannon

and

• Lucid, a rehashed pony oc, who wound up becoming a frankenstien inspired by the fact that her old concept was a mash of parts of my favorite characters (and the design it's self took inspiration from the old pinkamena creepypastas)

Ironically I've got a handful of monster characters from other stories so I suppose I'm used to taking interest with non-humans in fiction. Those characters tho are all from my comic here:

Interesting idea!

I think my MC Andy would be vampire (I even drew him dressing as one for Halloween), it seems to correspond well with both his seductive and violent sides:

Or demon, or siren, idk. Any type of monster who lures somebody in seductive manner and can both terrify and appear human enough to not rise an alarm.

Other MC, Baxtor likely to be a werewolf, but because werewolfs have human form too...Yet unlike case with Andy he is not in control of own powers completely. He is prone to anger (turning to beast so to say) and overall pretty strong.

Wow okay yeah, this is peak monster. But I expected Pike to be that one person who purposely taps his finger on his desk really really fast during a test. And when someone calls him out for it, he'll be defensive but won't stop tapping.

I realized how specific this is. HAHAHAHAHA!
