There some artists out there that can manage the work load by themselves with no hassle, but there some like me who would love to have some form of assistant. I've been hesitant to make a thread like this for a long time, but at this point it doesn't hurt asking for help. Basically I need someone to help me draw my comic. Specifically an inker, just someone to aid in inking a page. The reason I've been hesitant to ask for help is because of money. I feel like asking for an inker, colorist or any aid to help with my comic might be a big ask for most people without any sort of compensation, especially if they're not friends or family, and Im not rich enough to provide said compensation. The best I can do is.......I cant believe Im saying this.....pay you in exposure. And I know when people here that, they think of creators taking advantage of people's hard work and not properly crediting them in the long term. But I swear, hand on heart, as God is my witness, I will 100% on any episode or chapter you work on. Because any form of help is greatly appreciated, and as much as I prefer to be able to pay you guys for your hard work, I cant really offer much at this moment.

If you are interested, I'll link my series below just so you can get an idea of what you'll be doing (note: I suggest studying episodes 5 and onwards as the brush I used for inking standardizes from those batch of pages going forward)

Sorry for the off-topic, but is there any chance you would write your story as prose instead? Get it out of your system that way, add some nice illustrations and minicomics made by you if you want, and then in the future, if you still have the interest, make a comic version (or pay someone to do it). Just random thoughts; I write stories that I'd love to see as comics, but there aren't enough hours in a day for me to turn all those ideas into comics

I actually did that prior to drawing my comic. I wrote some of my chapters in a novelized format since I didn't have enough artistic skill at the time to draw them well, and I kind of did something similar back in December where I rewrote them in script format and even wrote beyond where I had stopped originally. Someone did suggest I do my comic but as a storybook before but I don't want give up on what I have going now. Drawing comics is not a walk in the park but I'd be lying if I said there weren't things I did enjoy about them, such as drawing thumbnails and sketching pages can be a lot of fun sometimes. But there are times where I wish I had someone aiding in me because the work can be a lot for one person to handle on his own, especially given the complexity of the art style Im going for. You'd think the Disney style wouldn't be too hard to draw in compared to other styles but that's definitely not the case XD

185 followers on Tapas is not exactly exposure.

I would like to ink for you free of charge just to practice my inking over something than my own drawings

Sad truth is, it doesn't matter how much subs you have. I've been given exposure by 5 separate YouTubers, one with over 50k subscribers, two with over 100k subscribers, and one with over 2M subscribers, it did nothing for me. No commissions, no followers, no connection... Nothing.

The good thing is, I wasn't actively looking for exposure, these just kind of happen when you partake in communities. However, it did taught me that no one cares who you are, you have to care about the stuff you make yourself. And over time it will show people that you care about your craft.

Its why I was hesitant on making this thread in the first place. It kinda felt like explorative a little bit, though I guess it could help in improving your skills as an inker :sweat_01:
