Oh, I said I was tokophobic (fear of childbearing or pregnancy) on a thread once, and some forum goers took it really personally, after that I couldn't really go on the site without feeling embarrassed so I left. xD
Yeah, the idea of messing up is so scary, sure it's a natural thing but when it comes to socialization not messing up feels more important. People are frightening, and also you may have to talk to them again afterwards, and that's always awkward.

Oh really? Wow! That's odd. I have the same fear, sorry to hear they took it the wrong way. I'm hoping I'll like the community here too. I'm already so nervous just about my comic in general. I don't want to mess up and do something wrong and have it get taken down haha.

Yeah, I guess the idea of not wanting to be pregnant is a little too controversial for some, but just keep posting and you'll get the hang of things eventually... probably. Lol. I'm sure your comic will do good as long as it doesn't have porn, I've seen some pretty graphically violent comics that are doing fine, some are even on the popular list.

Nope no porn in mine, just bad words. I have it flagged NSFW for that alone and I'm wondering if that's overreacting? I don't want to turn viewers away just for a few bad words but I also want to be safe.

Not really, I've seen people flag for profanity, and I've seen people who don't even flag when they have blood. It depends on the person, and probably the comic, like I can see someone substituting the NSFW flag for a simple disclaimer if basically their whole comic would be flagged. I was thinking about taking off the flags myself since there's cussing and all that jazz on almost every page, lol. xD
Do what's most comfortable for you, if you feel better flagging those pages, than go for it!

I sent in a question to the staff for now but I don't know if it's worth flagging for profanity because it's frequent but I don't think saying "damn" is that bad haha. I'll keep that in mind, just nervous I guess.

Welcome to tapastic! I am Hop. I make long winded drunken posts on here occasionally First off I drop the F bomb in my comic a lot and don't tag it as NSFW. The NSFW policy here has been through a lot of scrutiny and I think the staff keep it vague in order for the creators to use their own best judgement. Basically if you use DAMN! or FUCK! every once and a while I think you will be fine.

Opossums are the only natural marsupials in north america so I definitely approve of of that! I always found them cute.

You mentioned liking pop punk, Idk that has such a broad definition now, I listened to a lot of the Ska punk stuff like Rancid, Goldfinger, and NOFX, but got into stuff like Motion city soundtrack and such. Maybe drop me a few bands you dig? I've always been able to appreciate pop punk bands so I'd be interested to hear what you are into/

Hello! And thank you, it's surely nothing to be envious of, however.

My favorite band is Fall Out Boy, it's funny you mention Rancid, I like them too but nobody ever brings them up. I also like Blink 182, Say Anything, Panic!, and then (not the same kind of genre) Brand New, Sufjan Stevens, Studio Killers, Arctic Monkeys.

I'm going to go ahead and keep my work untagged then, because if they went ahead and put it on Daily Snack I assume it's alright.

I was like you at first, lol, I used to be part of many forums before but I stopped some years ago and coming back here was kinda difficult, since also the format here is different from usual forums around the internet. But you'll get used quick to it.
OMG your style is amazing! <3 I love it. My name is... well, what you read, it's too long but people usually just say Tatsumaki xD I love Silent Hill! I played the first game on the PSX, and the games 2,3 and 4 on my PS2, I couldn't play the others and I'm still sad for Silent Hills which got cancelled
I'm not that picky with music, I prefer j-pop over american pop though xD.

HEy there! I actually already follow your comics. I think someone in twitter gave it a shoutout that made me look into it and so far stuff looks great B)

I started to play silent hill 2 while ago and loved it to bits but made one huuuuuge mistake. I had a year long pause on my playing and when I came back to it... I was lost in the big building with no idea what I was supposed to do or where to go and I'm still there. Worst part is that I wandered once in the right place and then accidentally wandered off again and can't find the way back. It's phatetic :'D. I really enjoy other horror games also/or games overall but the problem is that I don't have good enough PC or newest playstation that they update every year. Recently I played this small RPG Lisa the Painful and it was r e a l l y impressive and indeed painful run.

Other than that I'm a bit of a movie nerd and of course lover of comics, who's on a journey to trying to learn to eat more healthy. I also have few comics here, Numb and Little Tales. Take a look if you wish. It's greatly apperiaced

As for SH2 I lovvveee that game. My faves are Homecoming, SH3, and SH2. Getting lost in SH2 is like... practically mandated haha I got lost a gazillion times too.
