I'm a traditional artist xD so I shouldn't even be here.
@thomassayle More ammo for your generic comics eh?
lol ,ive got it written down some where!
Fo' SHO! Sometimes when I draw traditionally I make a mistake and I SEE the keys in my peripheral vision and my mind immediaetly thinks of making the hand motion to execute the command!
I.... have been known to push the undo shortcut-button into the air on the left side of my canvas when I'm painting on an easel, because that's where it is when I'm working on my cintiq.
It makes me laugh every single time. XD
Please... I do this even when I take notes for school. Instead of crossing out the word or just grabbing the eraser. <_<;;
I do this all the time. I've also looked for ALT+TAB when someone on the bus asked me what book I was reading. Sometimes when I come home from work I stand outside the front door of our house and try to open the door with my electronic car key.
I mostly draw on paper so when I make a mistake on digital I just forget to use 'undo' sometimes.
i think i've had the thought in the back of my mind before but somehow it never happens.
It happens to me, but with Ctrl+S. It feels wrong to finish a drawing on paper without the possibility of "saving" it.
hay that's not as bad as wondering why your stylus has stopped working only to relies your holding it upside down
Yes this sounds very familiar. I use a H4 pencil though so I can erase it better.
In my case whenever the line isn't to my liking I have this strong urge to sharpen my tablet pen.
Strange right?
Yes. Weird thing is I don't even draw that much on the tablet as I do on paper, yet I still have this reaction sometimes. Not an actual gesture, but I feel I need to undo the last line I drew.
I haven't drawn on paper for so long I'm starting to fear that my paper drawings are gonna look like crap when I do. O_o
Yeah, this is exactly what I mean, haha. I don't make a move with my hand since it's not on a keyboard anyway, but my brain tells me to undo it, and then I just kind of shut down for a moment because I confused myself.
Yes. I'm left-handed so when I need to press ctrl + z, I need to stop drawing and yet...you'd think that whole extra second reminds you 'hey no you're working traditionally' but NOPE!
happens to me all the time, but not especially when I draw, it can be when I let a glass of water fall on the ground, or if I break something.
I think that's with anything I've done in real life. But... (not mine)
It's like Tetris vision...but in your fingers.
