Figured it's something like that. 8'D No worries at all, strangely enough, one of our comps broke earlier this month, so we feel him. XD All the submissions are so cool, these events are really nice. The What If one sounds rather interesting, I vote that. XD
Hai! It's us again. XD Ok, so. Name: LegendRiders96 (or Alex and Kass) Comic: Legend Riders: Legacy of Leneira/Legend Riders: Rise of Cassandra Character: Hadaman [image] Hope it's good ~
[image] Legend Riders: Legacy of Leneira and Rise of Cassandra (they go together) is an action/supernatural comic with hell dogs, candlesticks, and bearded dudes in robes. What inspires us, well, it's mostly fascination with fantasy and the supernatural, as well as human psychology. We inspire …
[image] Must be funny in a rich man's world.
Well, English isn't the first language for either of us. XD For one it's Serbian, and for the other it's Greek. We mostly communicate in English cuz neither speaks the other one's language well enough for a normal conversation. XD Our comic is almost entirely translated to our natives too, but we're…
Sure thing, man, here: Legend Riders: Legacy of Leneira, Legend Riders: Rise of Cassandra. They kinda go together. XD
Hmm, the house of the Creator. I wonder what that means. The Council sounds scary. More Doge references over at Legend Riders: Rise of Cassandra. [image]
We work more as partners. 8D It makes it so much easier for communication and trust. We both work on the script and both do our part of the illustration process for each series. It's good to have another brain for ideas and another pair of eyes to spot the mistakes. It's useful for motivation too. …
I actually find it easier to read/draw comics from right to left. ▔\▁(ヅ )▁/▔ I also agree with the comment above.
Oh, this is such an interesting topic. Almost all of our charas went through a lot of change, so we actually started a project about this on our dA accounts. We currently have this one. [image] He started off as a protagonist in a random series about aliens (????? I mean what even), then was mo…
Ooohh, we have so many. XDD These are our personal favs: From Legend Riders: Legacy of Leneira [image] So proud of the perspective and everyone's personality here, also the shading; [image] [image] Proud of the perspectives again, and level of detail; [image] Have no idea why, but this one turn…
Our thing is pretty Shonen. [image] Legend Riders: Legacy of Leneira and Rise of Cassandra (they go together) is an action/supernatural manga with angels, demons, weird candlestick fights, and bluehairs. XD
Yep, both LR LoL and RoC do. As our description says, it's a story about shamelessly rich people, where boys cry, girls are pervs, and everyone's unreasonably hot. XD Have more than 1 female character? -Yep. Both mains are girls, 4 second mains are girls, a lot of villains are girls, and a whol…
It feels kinda like this. [image] XD
Please... I do this even when I take notes for school. Instead of crossing out the word or just grabbing the eraser. <_<;;
First page of Legend Riders: Legacy of Leneira [image] VS first page of Legend Riders: Rise of Cassandra [image] About a year later. XD I think the main change is getting the hang of actually making a comic. Plus the anatomy is a bit better and shading is a lot more detailed.
Ohh~ You can choose one of our covers if you wanna. We can send you an unwatermarked pic if you do. From Legend Riders: Legacy of Leneira: [image] [image] [image] And from Legend Riders: Rise of Cassandra (starts posting tonight XD): [image]
Well, in our case, we can make like 5 pages a day if we focus, since we're two people and all. One will be doing the lineart while the other one is colouring, sometimes panel by panel. However, the result doesn't really meet our quality standards, so we tend to take our sweet time, so it goes from o…
The cheery tune lightened the mood between the two old friends. But alas! It was all part Chad the Unspankable's evil plan! (Please do, we'd really like to participate if it's an option!)

"Let's all touch each other's butts".
Well, a lot of things influenced ours. XD The artstyle is an unholy child of Yugioh and Shingeki-no Kyojin and the storyline is a base of Fifth Element mashed with God of War and Supernatural, pinch of Tomb Raider, a bit of Ghost Rider and Berserk, and a whole lot of Trapt. That epic stuff. There's …
Armed with the all-powerful Palm of Justice...
Hai. 8D You can always try ours, it's pretty fantasy, Legend Riders: Legacy of Leneira. It has angles, demons, monsters, magic, all that similar stuff. It also has only two 21 page episodes. We'll also start posting its counterpart Rise of Cassandra really soon.
I find it pretty hilarious our chara got two blondes. XDD One to receive a gift from and another one to give a gift to. @Riko You're very welcome. ^ ^ It was a pleasure. Yeah, we're pretty well trained to work with each other. XD But I think this was one of our best work, honestly. ~ We keep prais…
Yea, but REAL men only read lemon.
YEP, encountered both too many times, they both suck. It'd be really nice if we could all just get along. =3=; And agree to disagree if necessary. Pff, I actually have family members that thought "anime" is Japanese for "porn". They wouldn't even believe me when I said they're wrong, it just stan…
No, no, don't worry. XD I get your point. We're not the types to fanatically separate the two, and when I can speak freely, I refer to anime/manga as cartoon/comic. However, after you've been around the fanbase long enough to see that meme about a hundred times with "I love anime" "Oh, you mean thos…
Nah, man, I used the terms so peeps would know what I'm talking about better. Manga is actually Japanese for caricature. If you notice, I usually refer to our thing as "comic" and to myself as "comic artist". It was a manner of speaking in this thread. Sorry if that bothered you.
I know, biggest issue there is trying to develop your own style without a minute of actually studying art. I don't mean going to classes or anything, not everyone has the money, but there's the internet for tutorials and tips. Which then ends up in creating distorted drawings. Probably not everyone …
