I'm wondering about traits that creative people have?

I have this idea that a lot of creative people are Rh Negative. If you consider yourself to be creative when it comes to drawing, painting, writing stories, creating music etc. etc. .... basically I want you to tell what you're good at doing and then tell if you are Rh Negative or Rh Positive.

My mother is Rh Negative and I am a good artist when it comes to sketching.

I feel like autism is probably a much bigger factor than my blood type personally. The combination of extra neuron branches for problem solving and liking to be alone a lot because people and the outside world are loud, bright and scary or exhausting to deal with does seem to create a lot of comic artists...

I'd look into other traits that creative folks may share than what type of blood related antibodies they have... And not because I have no clue what my blood type is and don't even know where to check this... 'xD (never needed transfusions and never donated blood - sorry, too afraid of needles)

In some cultures it's common to attribute personality traits to blood type, kind of like how we attribute them to astrological signs. I think that's all that's going on here. ^^;

I recommend you to find out your blood type.....not for personality reasons, but for safety ones.
A blood transfusion was the difference between life and death for one of my older brothers.
If he had received an incompatible type, he would be dead.

There are 4 blood types: A, B, AB, and 0. These blood types can be positive or negative.

A person from the 0 group can only receive blood from other people of the 0 group.

People from the A group can receive blood from A and the 0 group.

People from the B group can receive blood from B and the 0 group.

And AB can receive blood from AB, A, B and 0.

People from a negative group can only receive blood from the negative version of their compatible groups.

I'm O+, sorry. I'm with @darthmongoose in that most of the artists I know have some form of neuro-spicy personality traits.

Although I will say, if you're looking for traits that really ARE more common in artists, I spent 6 years working at an art supply store, and the percentage of customers who came past my counter and signed receipts with their left hand was WAY higher than the average. Like, almost 1/4.

Japanese cultural views of blood type affecting your personality are not supported by science. These beliefs are better classified as similar to cultural beliefs about zodiac signs. There are studies which correlate creativity to genetics and show there is only a limited correlation - 20-25%.

I 100% agree with @DiegoPalacios, that´s how I see creativity too.

Kids have multiple reasons why they start training that muscle.
Social reasons, psychological, their surroundings, a mix of all that
and all kind of other stuff

dunno about RH negative/positives but most creatives I've met/known tend to break the norms in some way, whether it be via fashion norms, personality norms, gender norms, neurotypical norms, etc.

It doesn't have to be in big ways either. One of the creative mentors I used to look up to as a high school student was a man who had a silly laid-back personality and grew out his hair into a small ponytail — going against the East Asian norms of what a grown man + father should act and look like.

I know blood types = personalities is a thing in Japan. It's sort of like Zodiac signs where there isn't really any deep scientific proof of it effecting your personality. A lot of it reminds me of the 4 Humors which was popular during the Renaissance.

Alongside what others have said about being neurospicy (I’m stealing this term forever @Scarlet_Cryptid). I think it’s also how you were raised. My parents really encouraged my creativity, but I know many people who were creative as a kid but didn’t get the support or have the means to develop that. I mean, I didn’t even realize the importance of fashion to me until college because I was raised to think that it’s not masculine and queerness wasn’t in my vocabulary

I ran a test back when I was still a teen because I really wanted to find out my blood type. And I'm just like many people around this thread O+, haha. I wouldn't say that the RH factor does influence you or your creativity

For me it's been my OCD. Obsession has helped me care about little details and figure out how to schedule and all that. It's cool because I've been able to channel it lmao. Originally, it's been an hinderance, but now it forces me to try harder even if I don't want to. That and my PANDAS which has been mistaken for autism, but that's been dying down recently.

Ok, first of all, if one of your parents is Rh(-), doesn't mean you are
I actually believe all people are creative. Is this... an unpopular opinion? They are just creative in completely different ways (not necessarily being into writing or drawing), and sometimes they don't develop their creative spark?
