Yeah, that's where I got my info. It's 1250 for $1 for a creator. But when you BUY Ink, it's 800 for $1. Or rather 1600 for $2 cause you can't just buy $1 worth.

I was concerned because there was nothing backing up the first person who said it, but further down someone confirmed it by saying they had 25 ink valued at 2 cents, which is the same as 1250 valued at $1.

Are those fees figured in to what you have in your "bank", though? Or is that what's taken off the top when you cash out?

Not sure about that.
I had some cash out and the 1$ is about 1200-1300 Ink fits fine.
Depending on where the Ink has been purchased.
If I buy ink at the web and give it to you tapas will take 15%
If I buy Ink on the mobile app Tapas will take 30% and split it with Apple and Google.
And the Pay Pal 10% is only if you cash-out from Pay Pal in another currency then Dollar.

It isn’t that bad as It might seem folks.

AFAIK Tapas does not split that 30% with Apple/Google. Apple/Google takes all of that 30%, and then Tapas takes their own cut from the remainder.

OKAY THEN CONSIDER WHERE YOU BUY YOUR INK

If you're comfortable with it, could you tell me how much Ink made up that balance?

So in short, it's best to buy ink off the web. It's worth more for the one tipping and pays more to the author being tipped.

Your web Ink has a greater value for the supported creator then your App ink

Yup. I feel like that should be more explicitly stated.

Not sure if this can help but there's a more diverse look of support inks I got. Notice that there's a 0.08 and 0.04 that was cut the same amount of 0.01.

I have never taken out my balance but as an estimate, I probably have received around 76.000+ inks (I received few hundred support inks before making a support goal so it's around there) the whole time here and the total support on my support page said $64.54, while what I can take out in total after all fee from what it seems on my balance is $49.47

Thinking about it?

If I set a goal of 15000 ink and a All my supporters give me that in App Ink I will lose 30% value contra all my supporter give me Web ink.

And the supporters will not know because they had paid the same $ for the same amount of Ink.

But we can’t tell the difference from Web Ink or App Ink.

Is this fair?
Can we say NO to App ink?

I was the 2 cent person, for the record. Two days ago a reader gifted me exactly 25 ink (first support I've received, I'm pretty new here). On my support page, my balance is now listed as $0.02.

I can't comment on that reader's app store, taxes, etc.

Really? I've seen the web inks shop, the android and iOS separately and they seems to have a same prices. (the one on ISO is on my country balance but they're more or less have the same exchange rate value).

True.
But if the price of a beer is 10 money and you expecting $ but I can choose to pay in danish KR.

You got your 10 Money. But not the value you need to rebuy new beer to sell
