Hello, I've been here since about May but thought I should introduce myself. I'm ElPsyCongroo and I author a comic called Knights which is still in its early stages. To any other newbies I would highly recommend being active on the forums. Not only does it promote your comics but the community here is pretty great and I already feel my art improving thanks to my interactions here. In fact my latest chapter really benefited from advice I'd gotten here on coloring and depicting movement. Big ups forum people =]
My comic actually began as an idea for a video game. My brother and I wanted to basically combine all the elements from stuff we loved like Zelda, Final Fantasy, RWBY, etc. The project proved a bit too ambitious (though I did get pretty nifty at blender) and I thought to make a comic rather than let the story go to waste. The setting takes place centuries in a post apocalyptic future where the geography has changed due to war and climate change, and the presence of monsters that have driven mankind near to extinction. Most of human history and technology has been lost. The comic focuses on the remnants of mankind in the region that was once the silk road as it attempts to rebuild civilization.
There's a ton of Tapastic comics I want to start reading - many of which I've seen above or who's authors I've even interacted with on the forums but I haven't got through them all yet. (I'm kind of a tab-slut and my browser is insanely slow because of it). Once I do, I'll come back here and post about them (if I remember) =]
