My name is Radmehr Dehghan. I’m 22 years old. I’ve been drawing for over a decade, and writing seriously for the past five years. During this time, I’ve written several stories, but until recently, I kept them all to myself. None have been shared or read by others.
There is one particular story I’ve nearly completed, but I don’t plan to publish it for another 15 to 20 years, until I believe it has reached its absolute best. In the meantime, I knew I needed to release something to grow as a writer. That’s why I wrote Between Clay and Fire. It’s the story I’ve chosen to share with the world, and I’m committed to giving it the time and attention it deserves.
My writing is deeply inspired by Ferdowsi, whose Shahnameh I consider to be the greatest literary work ever written. His words
"For thirty years, I suffered much pain and strife,
I gave the Persians back their life through this Persian tongue."
,have always moved me. His dedication inspires my own.
Outside of writing and art, I work as a real estate consultant, and I studied architecture in university.
