Well, i'm not new here, just was shy to present myself to the world! DDD:!
I've been here stalking some comics for a while and when i finally decided to participate in the forum... well, it didn't "want" me to participate.
But, err.. I must introduce myself, because, you know... It's an introduction post... Anyway.. I'm Natalie and i'm from Brazil. I do draw... For a while now... Well, many years, i just wasn't very serious about it... BUT THEN, after stalk a lot of amazing webcomics, it has grown inside of me the desire of participate in the middle of it. In fact, i do like more to create stories than to draw it, but i'm working on fixing this matter already..... I'm not entirely used to draw directly on my computer, i was more like a tradicional artist, but i ended up needing to adapt to it. Now i'm learning the hard way (BEING REEEEALLY SLOW!).
Oh, btw, i may not be that excellent in english, so you might find here and there some shameful mistakes D:.
Just a month ago i started my first webcomic, Savage Minds, that is also my first attempt to create a post-apocalyptic kind of story. Altough it's listed as a drama (cause there is not such a genre as adventure) i will try to balance it with some other genres, because I like stories with variety. Savage Minds is a story about damaged people trying to live on for a future that may be even harder and lonellier. Every single one is driven by their own expectations that may or may not be that big, but has the capability to keep them going through this hopeless reality.
The first chapter will be almost a prologue and it is where i'm training my abilities with a tablet and also trying to define the style of the webcomic, so it has some variations i hope that won't be repeated in the next chapters x.x!
