Is it possible for me to get a online job as a character design artist?

Please help me by answering these two questions

I mean that even if I am not in the same country as the studio that might hire me, can I get hired by said studio online?

Also how would I go about getting hired as a character design artist?

1) Maybe if you get people to commission you to do char designs for them? Anyone in the world can pay you to do that. Though not as an employee but as a contractor. Like how a mechanic can be paid to fix a car.

2) follow the prompt of whoever hired you.

First and foremost you need a portfolio.

There are people who offer services for things like art or video editor. As long as you have internet and can upload things, you can offer your services to people in other countries.

Some places may scout out talent, that is what sites like Fiverr is for. Some places might ask for people to submit a portfolio.

A1. Every single job overseas requires you being able to provide a skill that a local can't, or won't, do.

One white guy (who speaks fluently) in an entire company during a boom period. They wouldn't be notable if they were common.

A2. Copy what's popular and do it better than the thousands of other people with the same idea.

Make a portfolio of it. Shove it in front of every company you can find. Hope some chump doesn't agree to do the job for peanuts. Or worse, for "exposure".
